About this ebook
This book is a guide and encouraging book series designed to help readers to positively transform. It is my goal to help others understand that as humans, we are imperfect and it is our imperfections that permits us to make mistakes. Romans 3:23 states that for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. God doesn’t expect any of us to be perfect. However, he does expect for us to give perfect effort. This statement holds true in all aspects of our lives, even marriage. Please enjoy reading my first book entitled, ‘Married to Ministry’.

Understand that your first marriage in life is to God, be pleasing unto him, in his sight and everything else is not just a test, but a lesson that is to be taught everyday of your life until we see him again.

I
am honored to have an opportunity to write my first book. I dedicate this book to God. I thank him for the many blessings he has bestowed upon my family and me. Despite the obstacles we may face in our daily lives, God is still in the business of granting blessings!
My parents have been instrumental in grooming me into the resilient and respectful woman that I am today. It is only befitting that I express my gratitude and acknowledge Deacon Clifford and Deaconess Shirley Brantley for their years of sacrifice and encouragement. They compelled me to realize my strength amidst the storms I’ve encounter in life. They’ve always supported me, whether the circumstances were favorable or not. It was their prayers and teachings of God’s grace and mercy that continues to resonated throughout my life.
The Bible states in John 16:21, When a woman gives birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come. When she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish because there is joy that a human being has been born into the world.
Although both parents have an important role to fulfil as it relates to the nurturing of their children, I would argue that God emulated a woman’s heart after his own. Only a mother can truly fathom the familiarity of what it is like to conceive life. The burdens and strains of conception, and the beauty of giving birth to life, creates a bond between a mother and child that is incomprehensible. To look in to the eyes of your child and feel a sentiment of adoration and joy is the quintessence of love. I have no doubt that God possesses the same type of fondness for all of his children and creations. I say this to express and correlate my affections for my own children. I thank God for allowing me to experience the miracles of motherhood. Although the circumstances surrounding my oldest son’s conception was not ideal by Christian standards. God showed favor and permitted me to develop maturity from the incident. It was his birth that sparked a new and profound chapter in my life. As a mother, God has allowed me to encounter triumphs and tribulations. As I’ve blossomed as a woman, so has my wisdom. Wisdom can only be discovered and cultivated with age, and each new sunset brings understanding about life.
I would like to acknowledge my eldest son, Chancelor Khyree Turner for teaching me responsibility at the youthful age of eighteen. It was his presence that contributed to my willingness to live and move pass my former pain. His words of encouragement still echo in the depths of my mind. When he was five, I can recall him telling me Mommy, what doesn’t kill you, will make you stronger.
To be so young at the time and know just the right words to say during my darkest hours, convinced me that God had ordained his words. God was still in control of
