    The famous, billionaire boss

Were here, ma'am, the old taxi driver declared in his gruff voice.

Hazel Norris shook herself out of her hazy mind, and grabbed her leathery bag off the seat. The smell of the dusty air conditioner mingled with the smell of the lavender air fresher, making her light-headed as her fingers made its work around her messy bag. It was so unlike her, being all messy and unorganized. She was always used to finding her stuff—like her purse—easily. Probably her nerves were causing her to become this discombobulated. Only when she got the call saying she was in for an interview, all manners and being decent—especially neatness—flew out the window. She jumped up-and-down and even skipped. Skipped! Like a little school girl she had once been, while she had called her gay best friend George. Excitement had gotten the best of her, and it seemed like it was not such a good idea to get herself lost in her giddy emotions again.

Here it is, Hazel said in relief when finally grasped her purse. After a long ten minutes of prodding, moving things aside and breaking a nail or two, she had finally found her purse and she immediately pulled out a few twenties to pay the taxi driver. No more trying to land jobs in dining tables, no more rude customers who never tipped her hospitably, and no more having to serve rich pricks. She may have no experience within the working field; many thanks to her ex-husband whom she had
