It was right before the start of my junior year in college when my girlfriend Jill broke up with me. We had been together the entirety of our sophomore year and it really looked like this was going to last, like she would be the one. She had been pretty much everything I had ever wanted in a woman: big boobs, long red hair; and she was geeky like me. That was the best part, and something you just don't find anywhere. When we met at my best friend's roleplaying game table she always played a cleric – which was a type of healer – so I liked to joke that I could take on any challenge as long as she was there to back me up.

Well, less than a month before the fall semester was to start, she stopped backing me up. I won't get into the details of the breakup. It was one of those things that happened. People spend a lot of time together and start to realize they want different things, have different long-term goals, and that maybe it's best if they split up to pursue them. The point is, we broke up. It was rough at first but I don't hold any ill will toward her over it.
