Little Flakes Of Snow
Little flakes of snow fell steadily from the sky
She looked up at it in awestruck wonder, my, oh, my
The road that she walked upon was soon covered with snow
And she kept on walking, because she had somewhere to go
It was the middle of winter, and it was cold outside
She was dressed warmly, and as she walked, the road stretched far and wide
The snow kept on falling, and it seemed like there was magic in the air
It snowed all over town oh, it snowed absolutely everywhere
The snow made her happy, and she smiled the biggest smile
Her soul seemed to connect with the falling snow, and it snowed for quite a while
Oh, what a glorious and wondrous and breathtaking sight
The flakes of snow kept on falling…falling…so fluffy and white
For her snow symbolized purity and a fresh new start
And as she walked, she wanted it to snow right into her heart
Her soul felt rejuvenated, and she felt oh, so ageless
And as she exhaled slowly, she felt it…she felt total bliss
A Poem for Christmas
Christmas is the season to be merry
It’s the time of year when every cake should have more than one cherry
It’s when family get together and celebrate their love for one another
And it’s also when everything is done with a smile, and nothing’s a bother
Christmas is the day of Christ’s birth, so it’s extra special
It’s a day to be light hearted and jubilant and social
It’s the perfect day to spread some lovely happiness
While in one’s heart there’s a feeling of blossoming tenderness
Oh, to see the beautifully wrapped gifts under a Christmas tree
It fills one with such wondrous excitement and unrestrained glee
Christmas is filled with such glorious enchantment
It could make one feel totally speechless with amazement
There’s such joy in singing along to Christmas carols
And eating Christmas cake, and pudding and delicious bread rolls
Christmas is a day of such awe inspiring festivity
It’s also a fun filled day of fantastic celebration and activity
An Aeroplane in the Sky
As she stood outside, the aeroplane flew over her
It filled her with excitement and so much wonder
The aeroplane was just so high up in the sky
She thought about the pilot who was
