Mary Wronko was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. She lived on the family farm where she did a great amount of her writing. She served in the Canadian Army (CWAC), she travelled through most oc Canada, parts of the U.S. and Europe as well as the Northwest Territories which she loved and which inspired her to write her northern poems.
