Boo On Romance - Trinity Blacio

    Chapter One

Garth O’Conner glared at the bills on his desk and snarled. If I ever get married again, have me committed, he said to his brother-in-law, Mac.

You’re the one who didn’t want to wait for a True Blood like your sister did. She tried to warn you, but no. Mac got up and grabbed one of the credit card bills. This is what you get for marrying a human. You’re lucky you didn’t let on about what you are. Too bad you couldn’t get the damn marriage annulled. He threw the bill on the desk. At least you’re well off and can handle this. How many months do you have to pay her bills?

Twelve, for the twelve months we were married. The judge was a prick. He moved back to the desk, moaning. What is this? he glared at Mac.

That is from your sister. It’s the invitation for this year’s Halloween party. Mac grinned. This year’s theme. You ready for it? he teased.

Spit it out, Mac. I’m not in the mood, Garth sat and started paying the bills. Romancing On Hallo’s Eve.

Tell my sister, boo on romance, but I’ll be there for her. He stared at his brother-in-law’s face. But no setting me up, is that understood? He used a little of his Alpha mojo and Mac nodded, looking down at the ground.

I’ll tell her, but... Mac made his way to the door. Your sister is a different matter. You know there is no stopping her.

With a little growl, Mac laughed, leaving his office. Garth loved his younger sister, but she was a pain in his ass.

He leaned back in his chair, cracking his neck, and sighed. Yes, Garth knew he needed to look for his True Blood, but right now the hurt was still fresh from his divorce with the Credit Card Queen, Marcy.

Out in the hallway, a commotion and growls had him jumping over his desk and heading for the door when it flew open. Mac and another one of his wolves rolled into his office, fighting.

Enough! Garth said, reaching down and separating the two growling men. He shook both of them. What the hell is wrong with you two? He looked at Mac then at Sanders his second. Garth shook them again, snarling.

I’ve had a really crappy day, so either start talking or get the hell out of my office, Garth ordered.

Mac took a deep breath. "I’m sorry this shouldn’t have happened. He nodded at the man and turned to leave.

    Mac? Garth asked.

No, Sanders can explain. I have to pick up your sister. We have a doctor appointment. Mac moved to the door before Garth could catch him.

What doctor appointment? Is my sister okay? he asked.

Your sister is fine. We’ll explain tonight at dinner. You are coming, right? Mac asked.

    He nodded.

I’ll be there. Garth turned watched his second who move over to the windows.

What’s wrong? You and Mac never get into it? Garth questioned, going to his desk then sitting. And you can replace the damn door too.

Mom and Dad called. We have trouble up on the North Ridge. He glanced at Garth. I’d like permission to go up there and settle it, Sanders stated.

"You don’t need permission. Now what’s really wrong?" Garth asked and studied his friend.

It was my fault. Amy and I called it quits this morning and I guess I took it out on Mac. I’ll apologize later.

So she wanted more and you couldn’t give it to her? Garth said, knowing what the problem was. When are you going to admit that Diamond is your True Blood and go get her? Garth stared at his friend. You know we only have one chance at our True Blood.

His friend snorted. I know, I know, you told me so. But I know where she is.

"I’m going to her when I go up to the North Ridge. It’s one of the reasons why I’ve stopped here. I won’t be back to after Halloween, but if you need me, call and I’ll be
