Ambrose Avery III

Ambrose Avery III is a Certified Professional Life-Coach, (CPC) and a Certified Family Herbalist, (CFH) He is also a "hierophant," known as the "esoteric life-coach." A hierophant is an "interpreter of sacred esoteric mysteries, or doctrines." The most unique definition of a hierophant though is, a "friend."After the devastating loss of his father in 2009, Ambrose become somewhat of a recluse. After realizing that he only had two options left, either wither away and die, or pick himself up and be an inspiration to others, he chose the latter. He used his father's death as a "springboard" back into life, instead of a "plank" to walk off of.Since his father was his "Zen-like" answer-man," he realized that he couldn't get the answers to his deeper, more philosophical questions about life any longer; so he had to find them for himself. And the rest, as they say is history. While going through a two year long hiatus of living the ascetic life of detachment, he had a brush with what is known in esoteric circles as, the "mystical- experience." He believes that anyone can access their own Spirit and soul through the practices of ancient, "true" esoteric yoga, (Yoga in the essence of the Yogi masters of the Himalaya's, not the incomplete, exoteric, westernized, or exercise-only version of yoga taught here in the states.) This involved learning the esoteric arts of meditation, contemplation, and introspection to achieve higher-consciousness.His mission in life is to help raise consciousness, one soul at a time, through the dissemination of obscure, esoteric teachings and wisdom.

Prologue

This book is a labor of love. These poems come straight from my heart, soul and Spirit. Many of them came to me about 5 years ago, after my brush with the "mystical-experience," which happened not long after my father passed.

I almost lost it when he passed on, as he was not only an incredible father, he was my best-friend; my confidante; my sports analyst; life-consultant, etc. etc. Needless to say, he was my rock. If you don't know what the mystical experience is, it's a long story that I'm in the process of compiling into another book as we speak.

I hope these metaphysical poems teach, as well as entertain.

The Keys

Many people think that the keys to life are hard to find.

This is because we're using our physical eyes and mind,

The keys can be found, and you can be made whole,

Once you start looking with your intuition through your soul.

Once your internal make-up is discovered and well known,

The doors will be opened, the way will be shown.

We search high and low for the keys to success,

When the keys reside in our own consciousness.
