A Breaking Heart

About this ebook
A Breaking Heart is a fictionalized account of some of the abused women Dimple McInvale has helped over the years. This beautiful story will touch your heart, and make you want to be the difference in the life of abused women and girls.
The story focuses on the lives of three very different women, who all gather at the home of Paul and Charlene because of abuse. As their bodies, hearts and minds heal, they learn to trust God again, and help Charlene as she helps other women and girls who are in danger.
Dimple McInvale
For almost 15 years Dimple had her own church ministry in Montgomery, Alabama (New Beginnings Chapel) working with battered women and children. The church ministry began with support groups in churches, apartment complexes and other locations.Because of the success of the church ministry, Dimple was called and invited by the warden of Julia Tutwiler prison to come and work with their women. It was discovered that 95% of those women had been abused, molested or raped by a father, husband or live-in companion, leading many to run away from home into a life of prostitution and crime to survive. For six years her church ministry was allowed to go into Montgomery County Jail and also for six years had her own television program “For Women Only” reaching into homes to give women ways of turning their life around to make a new life for themselves. In 1994 when her husband retired, Dimple moved to country life USA, into a ministry of prayer and dedication to help save children and families. As a born again Christian Dimple believes that through Jesus Christ we can have an abundant life by learning how to pray and do spiritual warfare. After years of seeing the abuse of children and women, God showed her that our battles are with satan, the enemy of our souls and not with mankind. (Ephesians 6:10-18) It is her desire to teach women and parents how to pray to save them from destruction of homes, families and children by the enemy. This ministry will teach women that they too have the same power and authority in prayer as men, just by learning how to use the Name of Jesus Christ in prayer to pull down strongholds. In Philippians 2:10 there is a name above all names “JESUS” and by using that name every knee and every evil force of hell must bow. Sickness has to bow, cancer has to bow, street shootings have to bow, as well as school shootings has to bow.The greatest ministry anyone can have is prayer because Jesus said that His House was to be called a house of prayer. We as Christians are that house.

A Word from Higher Ground Ministries
Dimple McInvale is God’s gift to the Body of Christ. She remains passionate about the cause to which she has been called. In her latest book, Dimple chronicles her effective ministry with ladies of all walks of life. Throughout the years Dimple has worked with battered women and women incarcerated in the Montgomery County Jail and Julia B. Tutwiler State Prison for Women. For six years she hosted For Women Only, a television ministry.
Dimple McInvale has been uniquely equipped to minister to the needs of today’s woman. She has become a spiritual mother
to a number of women. She is greatly loved and respected. Recently, a group of ladies put together a Reunion Party
attended by many of the ladies whose lives had been touched by Dimple’s ministry. The purpose of this reunion was to give honor and show appreciation to Dimple for her life of ministry. The attendees communicated the depth of their love for this woman of faith and action.
Dimple’s ministry has reached much further than I suspect even she had anticipated. God has found an available, pliable, obedient piece of clay
upon which to place His Holy Spirit and impact the world. If you have been wounded, forgotten or forsaken A Breaking Heart was written especially for you and it will bring you peace and hope. – Rich
As a woman, my life has been greatly touched by Dimple. She has been a real friend, a prayer-partner and a model of ministry. We recently turned to Dimple for prayer support when both our sons had calamitous events happen in their lives. With faith, she prayed with us and within a very short while God turned both the situations around. As a matter of fact, He did more than we asked! That’s the God we serve. I thank the Lord for putting such a wonderful lady of faith in my life. She’s the real deal!

Dedication
My heart goes out to the millions of women around the world crying out today for help.
Some have been in underground cages and others locked in dark rooms and chained to beds with no way out. There are young girls and teens locked away and torturous things being done to you. My prayer today as I dedicate this little book to you is that someway, your pain will stop and that you will find a new life and a new beginning. I have tried in my own life to call attention to your pain.
Don’t be afraid to reach out to someone for help. There are wonderful people in thousands of organizations and churches that will help you.
Take pictures and document everything.
Acknowledgements
There is no way any one person can do the things I have done in my life without the help of people. My thanks and appreciation goes to my wonderful husband for standing with me. My thanks also goes to the churches that helped me and even the apartment managers for allowing me to meet in their units. Also, the then-warden at Julia Tutwiler prison and staff at the Montgomery County Jail for opening their doors to me; the people at Storer Cable Television for giving me six years of free time to help battered women and women in crisis; the free services of doctors, dentists and lawyers who gave so much of their time.
It was truly the hand of God on my life for the works I was able to do. I look back in amazement on all this favor and I must say it had to be the hand of the Lord giving me the desire to help people in times of such real crisis in their lives. My life was forever changed by you all.
Introduction
This is the beautiful Ms. Dimple
that Jesus used to find me and my four wonderful children in a very abusive situation. She had a television show For Women Only
and worked with abused women and children in Montgomery. I was in a crisis weekend, and was being held captive by this alcoholic man at knife point and beaten every few minutes. As I was sitting in the shambles of my torn-to-pieces things, I was crying desperately for help. I cried Jesus Help Me
.
At that very moment this lady (Ms. Dimple) who had been checking on me for a couple of weeks called when this alcoholic man was relieving himself in the bathroom and couldn’t answer the phone - he had guarded it so viciously in the past that I couldn’t use it and get help. I answered in desperation and on the other end came the sweetest voice my ears had ever heard.
Mary, the Holy Spirit had me to call you and put in my heart that you were in a crisis situation.
(THOSE WERE HER ACTUAL WORDS!) I was determined to get things on the right track for me and my children, so I listened to every word that she told me to do; I knew that all of them would be for my good!
The next day we all sneaked out to the car and headed to a little Chapel located in the Court Street trailer park. I was afraid of this abuser and what he might do, but she taught me that God was much more powerful that any man. I remember my first step of faith was to move away from him (the abuser). My main concern at that time was for my children. It was a true miracle how God opened the door for me and my children to have an apartment away from the abuser. A partial month’s rent was already paid which helped me get out right then.
After this, I had a jail ministry working with abused women; it had been started by Ms. Dimple and later she turned over to me. While I was making things happen for those ladies in the jail, God was making it all happen for me and my children. My life became consecrated to the The ONE
who gave me a new life and a new beginning. He took that abused, beat up, undone nothing and turned everything to the good and gave me back everything that the devil had stolen from me—mainly my joy, peace, happiness, and LOVE; of course he made me prosperous not only in money but everything else.
This is the lady
writing this book that found me, but she was only used by her Lord and savior to help me out of total despair and hopelessness!
Now if Jesus could use her to do that for me, then He has your someone waiting to help you through your hard times! The valleys of our lives are only given to us so that we will trust God to put us on the mountain-so without the valleys there are no mountains. Without the rain, there are no beautiful flowers that God wants us to become!
Ms. Dimple loves a rosebud
because she says that all our lives will blossom like a rose after we come to know Christ. (Isaiah 35:1)
Ms. Dimple is a wonderful lady that loves God and loves helping thousands of hurting women and girls around the world just as she helped me.

Will You Help Battered Women?
Out for a Walk
Mary Beth Grinder, Pauline McGruder and Cassie Love Johnson eased out of the house for a walk in the south Alabama countryside. Anyone seeing them could not have guessed the past, nor could they have known what the lives of these women had been, up to this point.
This cool September afternoon was so fresh with falling leaves, birds chirping and off down the road a beautiful white tail deer leaped across the road. They could see things along this country road they had never
