Author

Bishop Margaret Bingham Chaney

Bishop Margaret Bingham Chaney of Red Lick, Mississippi moved to Baton Rouge, LA in 1965. She finds comfort in faithfully obeying God’s Word, God’s Will, & God’s Way. The Joy of being a mother is heard in her voice when she speaks of Jefferey & Anne Chaney. Since age 9, Margaret Chaney has heard the voice of Almighty God, but like Elijah she did not yet know the still small voice of God’s Infinite Wisdom. When all doubt was gone Margaret came to know God’s voice, & answered God’s call. She became a Missionary, a Minister & later an Ordained Bishop in 1998. God seeks The Willing Spirit, not gender. Bishop Chaney established a business in 1982 to meet the needs of The Mentally Disabled. She has a tender heart for this segment of the population. In 1987 she began ministering to the incarcerated prisoners in Angola Penitentiary in Angola, Louisiana. In 1990 Margaret answered another call she started a church known as “St. Martin’s Spiritual Church of Christ.” She also helped establish a “Vibrant Prayer Band.” Mama & Papa prepared her To Minister Righteousness, Fight cancer, & win every conflict. She says to every reader -- You Can Do The Same. This book is a Must Do Activity!

    About The Author

    Dedicated To:

My grand-parents Edgar and Margaret Bingham are the pillars of my life. They were as doctors inoculating and permeating my total being. Parents are a life line for children, a line that is recycled through the children they rear. Therefore, I will always Thank God For Mama and Papa.

My Mom, Eddie Lee Bingham Teat, always encouraged me. Mama became an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse). My chosen profession is the result of Mama’s ordained profession. My foundation and format for the mentally challenged is the result of Mama’s initial years as a caregiver. She began working at The Whitfield Mental Hospital located in Mississippi.

I am indebted to Aunt Lou Anna, affectionately called Buggar. Papa said she was a handful as a young girl. After the death of Mama and Papa Aunt Buggar stepped in and filled their shoes as my guardian. She became my prayer partner and mentor. Lou Anna B. Wells Frank left the planet earth this year in September 2007. I know she is strength and righteous cohesiveness in God’s Kingdom. I am obliged to be a mentor for others in need as Aunt Lou Anna has been for me. I Reverently Thank God For Aunt Lou Anna.

Synopsis about the cover illustrator: I approached Don Taylor concerning a drawing for the cover of a book I’ve fragmentally worked on for many years. Don’s indulgent and generous reply was Ms. Chaney just tell me what you want in your picture.

He meticulously and conscientiously drew from the description out of my mind’s eye . . . the result you see on the cover. It is obviously excellent to my eyes. Thank you Don Taylor.

    About The Author

Out-reach, yes that’s the word I’d use to describe Margaret Chaney. We are all working (or not working) on earth in a limited time frame. Some have programmed their consciousness to get on the job. Others are meandering and blaming other people and circumstances for their failures. Margaret Chaney is a spiritual being who loves Almighty God and is willing to Reach-out and fulfill her purpose. She’s a likable good-natured lady of dedication. Margaret is devoted and committed to her call by God. Continuously Reaching-out to the needy who are not popular to the general population. She cares for the Mentally Disabled.

There are infinite dormant Powers within us, dormant Powers waiting to be sparked through the unpleasant occasions of life. The author has used these opposing situations to learn about herself and meet the needs of others not capable of helping themselves without nurturing leadership and compassion. In the puzzle of life this is where Margaret fits in, as Margaret Reaches-out.

Margaret grew up in Red Lick, Mississippi with the support of a grand mom and grand-papa who taught her to keep Right always as the King of her soul. Her sole purpose of authorship is to let other people know and acknowledge Man is created for God’s purpose. Meet your challenges of life, utilize the reservoir of unexpressed Divine Power within, and stop sobbing for yourself. Meeting one’s purpose means there will be days of discouragement, disappointment, and deception. Get hurt, be betrayed, and get on with the purpose for which you are created. Thank God 85594-CHAN-layout-low.pdf for Mama and Papa.

    Preface . . .

Down through the years, . . . the experiences of Margaret Bingham Chaney, are told from childhood memories both positive and negative. The stories from her diary tell of her reverence and trusting love for Almighty God. She shares some of her darkest moments, turned bright.

I, Bishop Margaret Bingham Chaney born in the town of Redlick, in the state of Mississippi, have cherished for decades the autobiography of my life. I will never be overwhelmed by perils of life, not people, not circumstances, not breast cancer. I am determined and confident, to be defeated by nothing in this world. I know The Most High God will never allow me to fail.

It is my desire to educate people of all financial status, to seek God’s Zeal, which is available to all. Reach out in tough times to the needs of others. When faced with the challenge of breast cancer, it was the encouragement of those around me through Almighty God who enabled me to press forward. Today I say to others, „No trouble is too difficult for our Loving God.’

We, who are in Covenant with Almighty God, are promised His Fidelity. For The Lord God is a sun and
