About this ebook

Eve loves her job coaching her university's women team, but when her counterpart for the men's team quits, she's left running both. Extra work, extra trouble, and all of it dumped right at her feet. So she cracks her whip training them, just a little way to work out some of her frustration. When one young swimmer stays late after practice, Eve finds herself with the dynamic reversed, and the undergrad's confident take-charge personality suddenly comes to bare. Can Eve keep her authority in this situation or will it spiral out of control right there by the pool?

This five thousand word bit of action is a stand alone tale by Parker Paige

Funding issues were far from the sexiest things about working in college athletics. Eve hated dealing with budgets and was glad she had avoided them for the most part. Title IX meant that for every dollar spent on the monsters of sports, men's football and basketball, a dollar had to be spent on women's teams. Nobody will ever admit that their budgets were big enough, but, truth be told, there was enough to go around. Not so for the less popular men's teams, though.

Eve felt for them, she really did, but it was hardly her problem if the big sports robbed the smaller ones of scholarship money and annual budgets. Her swim team had their money; what was she supposed to do about other people having less? It just didn't really effect her.

That it, until it got shoved in her face.
