About this ebook
Dragon flower, a beautiful purple bloom, and its beauty is unrivaled.
Dragons don't exist. They're creatures of myth and magic. However, Mya Bellows knows better.
Gage Davis has seen dragons, smelled dragons, and slain them. He isn't a knight, a dragon-slayer. Gage, doesn't he live in the dark ages.
Dragons are fictional creatures. Inside Mya's soul, she knew this to be false. Dragons existed, and she fought every day to keep hers at bay. Then he came along, the slayer, and a legend began and became a reality.
However, a prophecy foretold that one of the last dragons, a shifter, would meet the slayer one day. The slayer would be tall, handsome, and deceived by the dragon-shifter's beauty.
Would love defeat the dragon in Mya, and would Gage finally fulfill the prophecy?

Dragon Flower - Suzzana C Ryan
Chapter One
Dreams sometimes foretold the future; they often relived the past and unfolded needs, wants, and fears. Mya Bellows’ dreams sent her messages. Since she was a child, she dreamt of a handsome young man, his fair hair, tall, strong body, and incredible blue eyes haunted her dreams. There was no white horse, but he wielded a large steel sword; didn’t every young girl dream of brave knights?
Mya wasn’t an ordinary young woman. She was special. Every day of her existence, she was taught to conceal her true inner self. Since the day they brought Mya into this world, her parents worried that she’d never learn to control her emotions. She was vivacious, beautiful, and impetuous. Her mother worried that those attributes would get her into trouble one day.
Mya drank her glass of wine, her eyes intent on the man sitting across from her. Eye candy wasn’t a strong enough description of Gage Davis. He had to be at least six feet three inches tall, with sandy blonde hair and clean, smooth skin, which was so very kissable. Even his five o'clock shadow was soft and blonde. His incredible blue eyes took her breath away; at times, the intensity of his stare melted her completely. He was the first man that had ever moved her. He was the man in her dreams. Gage Davis was her destiny, yet the dark cloud that settled over them upset Mya. He was hiding something; she could sense it, which scared her. She was hoping tonight she’d uncover his secret.
She sipped the wine. Was it her third glass? He must think her quite wanton. She let out a small giggle. He smiled.
Do I detect something mischievous behind that giggle,
he asked in his deep melodic voice. How she loved his voice, but she loved his smile far more.
Whatever do you mean?
she said teasingly.
That’s your third glass of wine.
Oh my...
she said, letting out a small sigh.
His hand covered hers. It’s okay,
he said, smiling. Just don’t pass out on me; I have some big plans for us tonight.
I do love surprises, Gage.
Was that her voice? Oh no, her words were slightly slurred—wine was one of her weaknesses.
Let me get the bill. I’ve got a room for us. It’s too late to drive back. I did get double beds,
he said, pulling out his wallet.
She pouted. Double beds? Well, then we’ll have to mess up both now, won’t we?
her hand came to her mouth to stop herself from saying any more embarrassing words, but then she let out a giggle.
He waved for the waiter, who then handed him the bill. He held him there and asked, I’d appreciate it if we could have this billed to our room 2149,
he said as he wrote the room number across the bill.
When they got up, Mya saw the room spin. Gage?
she said, grabbing his arm. His arm came around her.
No more wine for you, sweetheart.
She nodded, I agree. I’ll be fine; I have a wooden leg, you know, holding my liquor.
Gage laughed, I can see that.
LONG, FLAWLESS LEGS peeked out through the sheets of the bed. Her hair was as dark as night and spread out on the pillow, calling him. He’d seen beautiful women before and had more than his share in his bed, but Mya had taken hold of his entire psyche. Gage Davis was used to getting what he wanted when he wanted it. Mya was different. Until recently, she’d shown no interest in him sexually, and it had driven him crazy.
Every move she made, every sound she uttered, lured him. Was she unaware of the effect she had on him?
They’d had a meeting the night before, and she’d given quite an intriguing speech. The museum had great faith in her, and she always delivered whenever she examined a new artifact. Her observations, the tedious way she handled each piece of ancient art, and her knowledge of all things superstitious and supernatural amazed even the most informed scholars.
He’d encountered her on a dig three years ago. Then, she’d been an assistant to one of the museum’s renowned archeologists. Even then, he could see her dedication, adept hands, and how she treated every piece of sand that encumbered a new find. She had a respect for all things old, and he admired her for that.
A few months later, she surprised him by walking into his office, answering an advertisement the museum had placed looking for an assistant curator. Without hesitation, he hired her.
Lately, their relationship was taking on a new light. She was warming up to him, and he sensed the attraction. He’d acted on her newfound interest and pushed the relationship further. The first time he kissed her, his cock had hardened in seconds. Her body heat had drawn him into her. Her lips had molded to his perfectly. He wanted to further that kiss, but he held back. Why, with Mya, had that been important? Now, each time he took her into his arms, he could sense the surrender.
Maybe he was selfish, wanting to hold back, keeping his desires under wraps. The first time making love with someone you were this attracted to had to be an experience. Gage Davis wanted their first time together to be
