Faneisha Ragin

Faneisha Ragin is the daughter of Barbara B. Ragin and the late Willie A. Ragin. She accepted Christ as her savior at age 13. After becoming serious about her walk with Him in her early twenties, she dedicated her life to sharing the gospel through her testimony. Faneisha is a graduate of both Clemson and Duke Universities where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master in Engineering Management, respectively. Though she is an engineer by degrees, she is an anointed musician and writer. Faneisha currently serves as a musician and small group leader for Kingdom Assembly Outreach Center (Greer, SC). As a writer, she helped produce other books before penning her own. Her written work was made popular through her faith based blog under the moniker FantasticFo. The blog has reached over 13,000 people in 79 countries. Her mission is explained through her life’s verse, 1 Timothy 4:12—“set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” In 2013, she held the title of Miss Black South Carolina International. Since, Faneisha has conducted workshops and spoken at numerous events across the state to promote her life’s mission, along with financial literacy.

    What Are You Waiting For?

Ok, God. I will not date until You send me the man who will be my husband. Even if I never get married, I'll be content with You.

That was my confession to God. I wasn't sure if I truly meant it; nonetheless, I said it fervently. I was done! I was sweeping away the shards of a broken relationship with my on again, off again high school sweetheart. Life was not going as I had planned. I just knew that I would be married by age 23 with kids by age 25.

I'm much wiser now, but had it not been for a complete change of plans in my life, I would not be walking in my purpose and the life that God has destined for me.

Let me rewind a little further.

The relationship began my sophomore year of high school. I was determined that it would be one of the high school sweetheart sagas that you only read about or see in movies. After about 6 years of dating he decided to call it
