Fantasy Mind Poetry - Richard Henry
They were all in danger
The fate of the entire world
Rests on his shoulders
Darkness came unexpectedly
They wanted to take over
The identity has never been known
Knowledge of powers as a child
Increased in magnitude
Suspension is the strength
That holds the weight
And keeps the citizens safe
The lady who gives him
The inspiration for his deeds
With true love
Save her, embrace her
He was so different than most
Unlike regular souls
Eyes like fire, melt the enemy
Flowers tumble into the dust
Towers fall and turn from Heaven
Beyond his threshold
He pushes beyond his limits
Great news around the world
Forever champion
***~~~***
Monster Within
He arrived in town quietly
From an unknown place
Thoughts shielded like armor
Intentions focused on the outcome
Every hope they held onto
Now we have lived for this purpose
Show everyone one face
But another alien, murderous spirit
Shines forth with mad joy
He hides in the forest at night
One by one they fall
However one must become
Fright fills the wind
That blows the leaves away
People think he’s a friend
Whichever human a treat
He blends in with them
Deserted souls float aimlessly
Green grass withers and dies
They value life as money
If only they knew
Your only smile is short lived
Animals race against sand
He smiles as he devours her
***~~~***
Japan’s Breath Of Air
Art falls down the mountain
Like a spring refreshed her
Gather the swans never too
