Behind Four Walls

No one knows me or my name.

Alone with the television box.

Lifting weights all day,

Fulfilled dreams of a weight lifter.

I talk to myself, people would think

I’m crazy,

But I’m not,

For I have no other choice.

Isolation traps you,

Like mice to cheddar,

However, all is not lost!

Flaws, talents and abilities shine forth,

When there are no other distractions

I listen to the birds sing every morning.

Because it’s just them and I
