About this ebook

Allan and Sarah had just gotten back from their honeymoon. It was a somber one, filled with remembrance and soothing. You see, Sarah and Allan were not only newlyweds, they were soon-to-be parents. She was three months months pregnant when it happened. Devastated was an understatement. She wasn't whole, couldn't work properly, will never be the same woman for Allan, or herself, again. These are the thoughts that ran through Sarah's mind. Then, a few days before the wedding, it all stopped. That should have been the first flag for Allan. One week after their honeymoon, Allan goes to bed with his wife. He wakes up to an empty bed and, in a frantic haze barely awake, calls 911. His wife, so close to her miscarriage, is still fragile. He needs to find her. What he finds, is that she left. The detectives that show up after the uniforms do what they can, reveal that in all likelihood, she ran away. The detectives have done their work and figured out where she is. Now it's time to find her, and get her the help she needs. If she lets them.

    "911 what’s your emergency?"

"She’s gone. I don’t know where she is, but she’s gone."

"Stay calm sir, what is her name?"

"It’s my wife, Sarah. Sarah Mathenson."

"When was the last time you saw your wife, Mr. Mathenson?"

"Yesterday night, before we went to bed. I don’t know where she could have gone. We just got back from our honeymoon a week ago. I didn’t see anything weird or wrong, please. You need to find her. Send someone to find her!"

"I need you to keep calm Mr. Mathenson. We’ll find your wife. I need your first name, and your location. We’re sending someone to you momentarily."

"My name is Allan. Allan Mathenson."

"Allan, I’m going to need you to stay on the phone with me until the officers arrive."

We’ve got all the information we’re going to need starting off Mr. Mathenson. I think it best for you to come down to the station with us. There will be a detective that will take it from this point forward. Are you ok with that? the officer asked.

Y-yes, I’m ok with that. Let me get my things. Allan said.

Allan turned slowly around, unsure of himself. His wallet and keys were somewhere around here, but he couldn’t quite picture where. They may have been left in the kitchen, but he doubted that. He didn’t usually go to the
