Fallen Snow's Song's and Lullaby's: A collection of Light and Dark poetry
()
About this ebook
Within the recesses of the human psyche, we all long to let loose those emotions that we feel burdened by, and in this collection of poetry, the author has set the stage to embrace those emotions and share them on a world platform.
Deeply personal and moving, Alice Victoria Arkham passionately expresses various stages of her life in free style verses, coupled with a brief description and history to that poem. All of her poems represent a deeper connection to ourselves that we’ve likely forgotten over time, with some of those poems ranging on a darker scale. Mature content included in some of these poems.
Alice Victoria Arkham
Alice hails from sunny SoCal, where she got exposed to things like comics, videogames, movies, manga, books, anime, fairytales and mythology, art, and a variety of music from around the world. She grew up being a huge book nerd with an insatiable craving to read a dozen books a day while she has stuff like Star Trek/Star Wars, Doctor Who, any martial arts film or even a Durarara or Naruto anime episode blaring as background noise. You can currently find her doing whatever the Navy tasks her while she writes on the sly, runs after her very energetic toddler son and her two furry teenage-daughter cats as they destroy more furniture, and swoons over her devilishly handsome Marine husband. You can find another of Alice’s works, “Clara and the Rat King: An Adult Retelling of The Nutcracker Prince” on all E-readers for 99 cents. If you enjoyed the fairytale aspect of this book, or at least would like something fresh and new, please check out the works of Patricia Green: “Whispers from a Secret World” and “Charming Soot” ”- (available on all e-reader formats); https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008578479376&fref=ts

Fallen Snow's Song's and Lullaby's - Alice Victoria Arkham
Of the Light
Moonchild, let flow your hair of silver and gold, to touch our hearts and warm our souls.
Fallen Snow’s Songs and Lullaby’s
Falling,
wishing,
wondering when the day will end.
Hoping,
adoring,
pondering on the days spent,
with you and all the stars,
as we live our life none too soon-
Trapping,
catching,
a fallen star in our trembling hands-
Taking,
making,
a way to the path set before our eyes,
holding each other,
as we start our journey into the unknown-
And all the time, I will sing you a lullaby.
Dreaming,
singing,
wishing you were in my arms.
Snatching,
bewitching,
your soul into memories forgotten,
as we follow our hearts desire,
and remember our place in this circle-
Falling,
stalling,
the engine before you leave again,
holding your hand as I,
hastily pack my bags, running-
And just this once, I will sing you a lullaby.
Thinking,
planning,
knowing you are never gone.
Hoping,
feeling,
that the night is too long,
should you need a friend to know,
should I ever let you go-
Trembling,
stumbling,
I trip into the truth and sadly,
I cry into your shoulder,
knowing this really is goodbye-
Falling,
Wishing,
the time we spend will never end,
having you in my heart is never
