Chapter 1

Piper pulled the car to a stop and let go of the wheel with relief.

Around her, campus ran encrusted with ice and snow, and she vividly remembered sitting on the steps outside her dorm at this time the year before. She'd been waiting for Isabella to return, then… but, this time, her girlfriend had gone with her to her family's house for Christmas and New Year's Eve.
