What is Relationship?
Chapter 1
The Original plan
What is Relationship? In other words what is the definition? The Definition of the word Relationship is 1. A connection, association, or involvement.
God designed humans to have relationships. Look at how he created communication so that we could coincide with each other. Attraction, communication, activeness, we were made to have relationships with each other. I’m not talking about just with mates either but I’m talking about overall as a human race. We were made with emotion which has a lot to do with forming relationships. Look at Adam and Eve.
It seems like it is just referring to having a mate, but it’s actually talking about being alone, overall.
We all get to a point when we don’t want to be alone. Mankind was born with a sense of not being alone. God and Adam walked together, but even God said let me make him somebody. God wants us to be in relations with each other. His plan was to put people together to live happy and to live in what he already planned before time. Adam and Eve were the example of this, the divine order of God’s mind between man and woman. THE ORIGINAL PLAN was for us to be fruitful and multiply and at the same time enjoy God’s presence and creation. His presence represents his divine authority and his creation represents his divine plan for you and me. I remember when I was younger and I used to think of the time of being married but lacked the purpose of relationship. God began to teach me I would have to be ready to be more than a lover but also a provider, a protector, husband.
World’s View
These days the term relationship means who’s next to hook up with? As a result of this type of reasoning, divorce has plagued marriages and destroyed potential lifelong relationships, all because of lack of commitment. So, the original plan has yet to take effect. I will get deeper on this topic in my next chapters. But, it is detrimental that we get back to the original plan.
