Inspiring is a GREAT Feeling: Everyone thinks their books will change the world. They want to become famous and make millions. But what about inspiring others? Being an author/writer is more than just writing. It's about inspiring others. Here's my story. I went to get my taxes done, I know everyone groan, I use the same person every year he is in his late 70's. He was talking about writing a book a couple years ago. I told him I was a writer/author and we talked for a while. The next year he was contemplating about the different avenues in which to publish and how much it cost. We talked more. This year I go there and he smiled. 'I published my book.' He went over to a drawer and pulled out his book. He tells me, if it wasn't for me, he would have never taken that first step and published. It's a boy scout book, with camp fire spooky stories. With all the legends and how the camp came to be. He was a boy scout at this camp. The camp is still open today, he made is money back and all proceeds go to the camp. He wrote an inscription to me and handed me the book. My husband was so proud and I was almost speechless. I may not be famous or a millionaire. My books may not have changed anything, but being a writer did plus, he saved me money on my taxes, *grin* That was a great feeling, me inspiring someone. Someone who indeed is very profitable in selling his book. I guess it stems back when I first started out looking for answers, before I published. I asked an indie author a couple questions. Someone, everyone loves and I to loved her books. But she got snotty with me and made me feel like an idiot. Well dah! I have never done this before, I don't know what I am doing. I don't buy her books anymore either, just because of that fact. So at that point I decided I would never do that to someone else if they asked for help or information. And it has paid off, in my eyes. Facts about me: Favorite person-Husband Favorite color is - red Favorite vehicle - ford (69 mustang mach1 boss 429) Dream Car. Favorite foods - bacon & bbq ribs Favorite time of year - spring Zodiac sign - Pisces Movies - Overboard, 27 Dresses, The Ugly Truth, Pretty Woman, Under Siege 1&2, Comando extra... To my wonderful husband Lance, I want to thank him so much, Thank You! He was patient as I was getting these books finished. Chapter 1

Cally Walters and her lawyer, Jim Barnes, were listening to the judgment against her and her late husband Kyle. They were married for five years. She was getting a divorce when he suddenly died in a car accident.

I can’t believe this! I just can’t! She tried to keep her voice down but was very upset.

Shh… Cally, settled down it isn’t over yet. Barnes was trying to calm her, the best he could, but it didn’t look good for her.

It might as well be over! There is no way I can get out of this. I can’t believe him! If he wasn’t dead I would bury him myself! she spouted off. Everyone quickly glanced in her direction. She realized how loud she got. Her face turned a light shade of red she cleared her throat and sat quiet.

Within their short marriage Cally would play the lottery now and again. She will never forget the day she hit it big. She was so overwhelmed and she couldn’t speak. It took her awhile to settle down and get her barring's. She calmed down enough to call her husband’s office, but he wasn’t in. Cally thought it a little odd that time of day. But he did have meetings now and again so she never questioned him. Cally was afraid to leave the house or call anyone else that day. She was going crazy waiting for Kyle to get home. When he finally got home she almost knocked him over when he came through the door.

Kyle, Kyle! she ran up to him and jumped up into his arms. I can’t believe this! I just can’t!

Whoa! Settle down there Cally. Did you hit the lottery or something? he snickered.

Cally stood back with the biggest grin on her face.

Kyle looked at her speechless for a second. Oh my God Cally, don’t tell me?

Cally was nodding her head. We won! We won Kyle! and she jumped up into his arms again.

Kyle was shocked he had to see for himself. Let me see the ticket.

Cally showed him the ticket and he stood frozen looking at it. As he stood there Cally noticed he had lipstick on his ear. She cleared her throat. This wasn’t the first time he had an affair on her. She always pretended she didn’t know, but she did. I think we should get a lawyer, to help us. This is a lot of money.

Kyle was just grinning, still staring at the ticket. You know what this means? I can retire. I can get what I want, go where I want… he was lost in his thoughts.

Cally was listening to him. He kept saying I and not we. Did you hear what I said Kyle?

He looked at her real quick, Yeah, yeah something about a lawyer. I can get one.

Kyle it’s we, not I. she glared at him. She knew she couldn't trust him. She just had that feeling.

Yeah right us. But he wasn’t listening to her. He was thinking, the ponies, gambling and women. He could pay off all his dept to his bookies. He only married Cally because his parents were badgering him to get married and start a family. He was dating Cally at that time. She had a restaurant that was doing very well. Her restaurant could be very useful so he figured why not. His grandfather left him a great sum of money for inheritance when he passed, but he went through his inheritance quite fast. Now he is at a dead end job going nowhere and his parents refuse to help him anymore. He has a lot of gambling debts he has to cover. This money would get him out of the hole. But he had one little problem, Cally.

Cally thought he loved her in the beginning. The way he looked at her and treated her when they first got together. So when he asked her to get married, she jumped at the chance. But a couple months
