Life Is Beautiful

About this ebook
Why would anyone want to take his own life? The politician, the industrialist, the celebrity, the intellectual, the unschooled, the rich, and the pauper; all have people in their ranks who once despaired of life so much that they took their own lives, or attempted to, or contemplated it! What was it that made life so unbearable, ‘bitchy’ or ‘ugly’, that some people would rather prefer to ‘escape’ it than relate with it or confront it? Was it shame, pain, privation, loneliness, abuse, or despondency? Do you know that life in its natural, ‘innocent’ form is beautiful and not ‘beastly’? Yes, indeed it is lovely, pleasant, and attractive. But there is a secret to the beauty of life. Find out in this book, what reinforces its beauty and unleashes its beast.

Introduction
Life is beautiful; it is a beautiful, delicate gift from God. To be beautiful is to be pleasing, attractive or lovely; such is the actual nature of life in its natural, ‘innocent’ form. This beautiful ‘reality’ and intelligent moral consciousness is also a delicate phenomenon. A gift is something good one receives, even though one might not deserve it. We earn our incomes, wages, degrees, positions, fame, respect etc but no one earns his life, no one paid to get endowed with it; it’s a gift from God (probably the reason why many of us are careless or reckless with it!). Another very interesting thing about this beautiful gift is that it is good; life in its natural, ‘innocent’ form is not just beautiful but also good! The scriptures testify to this; "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good…Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array…Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows" (Genesis 1:31-2:1, James 1:17).
TO BE BEAUTIFUL IS TO BE PLEASING, ATTRACTIVE
OR LOVELY; SUCH IS THE ACTUAL NATURE OF
LIFE IN ITS NATURAL, ‘INNOCENT’ FORM.
Gifts are primarily expression of love, goodness, generosity, thoughtfulness, value, and sacrifice, and they are meant to bring the awareness of recipients to these virtues and stimulate them to imbibe them, so that they too can be channels through which the same virtues can flow to others, thereby creating a beautiful cycle or web of joy, love, value, sense of responsibility, gratitude and indebtedness, as well as fulfillment, positive direction and purpose - this is the essence of life. This way, it is beautiful, it is good, and God derives great divine pleasure from it. Unfortunately, the greater number of humanity does not know or understand or give attention to this critical truth about life at this ‘depth.’ Yet, the pleasantness and beauty of life lies in respecting this truth and operating at this depth. That is, taking to heart and committing to the ‘delicacy’ of the virtues embedded in the fabric of life.
Talking about ‘delicacy’, in the context of the subject matter under consideration in this book, it refers to the skill (finesse), wisdom, attention to detail, knowledge, understanding, and energy, carefully and deliberately woven into gigantic and complex structures of principles and laws (both physical and spiritual) powering the ‘being’, appearance, operations
