Many times, we all are confounded by the resident and persistent negative emotions, urges, habits, weaknesses, propensities, and desires; burning in our mind, thought and body, messing up our lives and our world.

Sometimes they rage as fiendish, insatiable urges, and other times they come as “mild” or “gentle” prods–hate, unforgiveness, seething anger, sex and its various inappropriate and perverted forms, alcoholism, smoking, sadism, rebellion, bloodshed, vanity, pride, lying, greed, dishonesty, pilfering, stealing, presumption, lasciviousness, covetousness, self-centeredness, resentment, envy, jealousy, ingratitude, cowardice, haughtiness, sensuality, mischief, obscenity, superiority complex, inferiority complex, racism, prejudice, idolatry and the likes of these.

Our world is in turmoil today because of this human condition.
How did we transform into this “monster”, and what is the “stuff” behind it all? How can we be healed and receive freedom from this condition? This book gives you the insights. Don’t excuse your weaknesses; they are “strong” enough to kill you!

I know the word “spiritual” makes some people uncomfortable. Some people might say, “I don’t believe this whole thing about God or the devil. Introduction

We are living in the age of technology, and we are very proud of it. We are proud that we are more advanced, developed, and ‘sophisticated’ than all our ancestors put together. But you know what – I think this notion is heady. The advent of the dispensation of science and technology, and by extension information technology, is pure divine orchestration. It has nothing to do with our ‘smartness’. We are just providentially positioned and privileged to be the generation around in these last days, to fulfill biblical prophecy. We are only acting out divine script under divine arrangements.

The Scriptures confirm this in the book of Daniel 12:4 when it says; "…close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge". In other words, the vista to the realm of increased knowledge (in every facet of human life, not just solely in the areas of science and technology) would be opened to the last days' generation of mankind.

This is part of God's plan in the process of bringing this age of self-will (exploration of life outside of God's instruction and supervision) to an end. He wants the devil (who started and pioneered the self-will journey. Revelation 12:7-12) and his fallen angelic colleagues as well as collaborating members of the fallen human race (their human accomplices) to have their possible-best shot at the project and venture of self-will. God wants all of us to witness the best of the foolishness, futility, and destruction self-will offers.

Of course, I agree our generation possesses far more knowledge and understanding of the physical laws of science, and how to maneuver them towards our ends. I agree we have learnt how to study particles, their behavior and the laws governing them. We have learnt how to tinker with them to ‘create’ our world of technology (networks of microchip ‘toys’). Nevertheless, we are very ‘irresponsible’; we are selfish, arrogant, presumptuous, manipulative, cruel, brutal, liars, and ‘schemers’.

We can barely control our emotions, desires, and appetites. We fight wars killing and maiming one another; sometimes with horrific means and in terrible ways – bombs, guns, nuclear and chemical weapons. In the process of warfare we also destroy what we toil to build with our own hands with reckless abandon. We destroy our cities with their infrastructure and facilities; and most times for vain and trivial reasons!

In the last 50 years, there had been horrendous nuclear disasters, polluting and endangering the environment, as well as our lives too. Ninety five percent of global warming is caused by us, and we are still at it! We have also managed to create ample artificial poverty, disasters, and injustice in our societies.

So, it happens we are the ‘celebrated’ generation of the most scientifically active Homo sapiens species with exploring and innovative brain till date. But, sadly, at the same time, we are plagued by morally and spiritually bankrupt emotion and psychology! And you know what? Our base, ‘crude’, undisciplined emotion and psychology, will eventually put the ingenious smart inventions and creations of our brain to wrong, perverted, and harmful use. The ‘strange’, hurtful and harmful things our ‘spiritually doped’ emotion and psychology are doing with the amazing and wonderful scientific inventions of our brain are undeniable proof of this frightening truth.

How much of self control, patience, endurance, selflessness, true love, meekness, humility, goodness, kindness, faithfulness and true joy do you see in people around you in our world today? We are very poor at conflict management in the home, community and politics. We hardly can resolve our differences amicably. Instead of telling the truth at negotiation and conflict resolution tables, we choose to lie to ourselves thereby putting our lives and future in avoidable stress and jeopardy.

The establishment – governments, agencies, institutions, service providers and manufacturers, manipulate information about the true nature, quality, and safety of products and services. In terms of responsible handling and interaction with the sensitive, delicate physical and spiritual laws that uphold and sustain our delicate planet and world; we are simply reckless. Now, in the light of all these, here is the big question: In the true and real sense of it, where is our advancement, development and ‘sophistication’? Is it in the myriad and arrays of the networks of microchip ‘toys’ of our world of technology? Definitely, the answer is a big No!

True advancement, development, and sophistication is authenticated, proven and reflected in the wisdom (prudence, knowledge, understanding, discretion, and sound judgment: Proverbs 8:1-36), harmony, tranquility, peace, thoughtfulness, and self control we display in the complex and sensitive business of life. It is the ability to recognize and stay within the limits or boundaries of the ‘indices of safety’ in life, in relation to certain proven and tested moral, physical, spiritual rules and norms; and God is the supreme custodian of these rules, laws and norms.

Nevertheless, we are also very ‘irresponsible’: we are selfish, arrogant, presumptuous, manipulative, cruel, brutal, liars and ‘schemers.’

There is no real advancement, development, or sophistication outside of God. What happens outside of God is advanced, developed, ‘sophisticated’ foolishness, chaos, perversion, savagery, calamity, fear, depression, frustration, self-destruction, and darkness. Since his fall, man has been trying to run the affairs of life outside of God’s instructions as represented in his Word.

When you exclude God, you exclude light. When you exclude light, you experience darkness. When you are in darkness you are in danger. You are in danger because you are blinded, and when you are blinded you will bump on things and fall into ditches! The Scripture says, "But the way (path) of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble" (Proverbs 4:19).

The world is groping in terrible spiritual and moral darkness. There is chaos, depression and frustration everywhere. Everything seems to be spinning out of control. We urgently need light because light makes things visible. And the light we need is God's own kind of light. The Scriptures say God is the Fountain of Life and in His light only, do we perceive or see truth and true enlightenment (Psalm 36:9). Jesus is the Light of God, and he is the Light of this world! He is the enlightenment, wisdom and power the world needs to be restored back to true life, health, development, advancement, and ‘sophistication’ (John 1:1-5, 14:6).

The message in this book is not fiction, neither is it an attempt at intellectual adventurism, spiritual sensationalism or ‘theology.’ It is revelation and insight from the Spirit of God, meant to help us all understand in a direct, literal, objective and simple form, a serious spiritual matter, drawing similarities from physical parallels as the Spirit of God gave me insight.

NOTE

There is no real advancement, development, or sophistication outside of God.

Obviously, there is a primary ‘enemy’ within our mind, soul and emotion. We all struggle with this mortal enemy on a daily basis. We need all the help we can get to defeat this enemy within, uproot its strongholds, and neutralize its influences in our lives and our world. On our own, we have proven over and over again to be weaker than this enemy. Definitely, it is going to take ‘something’ higher than us to overcome and destroy this enemy before it destroys us all.

Many people know the danger of getting addicted to or doing cocaine. They would advise; Don't touch it, don't even go near it! But most people do not realize or know there is a ‘spiritual’ form of natural cocaine. This spiritual form is many times deadlier and more destructive than natural cocaine.
