About this ebook

I do not intend to ‘spoil’ your fun or ‘scare’ anyone. But, what do you do with something that is inevitable? The message here is a ‘wake up’ call to the ‘temporariness’ of our present world system, life, and planet. It gives true enlightenment about the age to come, what happens in the age to come, and the ‘eternalness’ of the age to come. If you believe in investments and retirement plans, then, this book should interest you! Why? Because it shows you the wisest and best ‘investment’ and ‘retirement plan’ ever you could make! Even if you do not believe in investments and retirement plans, you will still have to deal with these issues as you journey inevitably towards eternity - you can’t escape them. Why not pay attention now? It’s eternal wisdom to do so.

    Introduction

I do not intend to ‘spoil’ your fun or ‘scare’ anyone. But, what do you do with something that is inevitable? Well, there are two primary options; you can choose to ‘bury’ your head in the ‘sand’ (of anything; denial, indifference, defiance, scorn, mockery, snubbing, scoffing, hostility etc) like the Ostrich and wish that somehow, the ‘inevitable’ will never happen. Or you can brace up yourself and confront the ‘dreaded inevitable’, looking out for how you can make ‘post-occurrence’ gain or ‘profit’ out of the inevitable! The first option or position is foolishness; the second option is prudence and practical wisdom. Ostrich is a large African bird with long legs that runs quickly but cannot fly. Literally, Ostriches do not ‘bury’ their heads in the sand, but figuratively they do.

When a predator threatens its nest, the Ostrich flops to the ground and remains still. It lays its head against the sand and tries to blend with it; only its body is visible. So, from a distance, it looks like the Ostrich has ‘buried’ its head in the sand. In the verb form ‘flop’ means to sit or lie down in a relaxed way, by letting all your weight fall heavily onto something - a chair, a bed, the floor etc. In the noun form ‘flop’ means something that is not successful - a product, an idea, a venture etc. This is the Ostrich’s choice of response to danger or threat; he ‘flops’!
