    Lap Dance

Sal rubbed his eyes; the fluorescent lights in the men's room at the Gold Club were bright. The bathroom attendant had on a white shirt and a black jacket.

    His black jacket swung open.

Sal thought that he saw a brown leather holster strapped to the white of the man's shoulder.

    The attendant smiled.

Sal thought that the dude had way too many white teeth.

To Sal, the dude's too many teeth looked whiter than the bathroom's fluorescents.

Sal had heard of whitening teeth with lasers but he wondered if the dude had bleached his teeth with some kind of high powered x ray.

Sal reached his hand into his pants pocket; he felt four packets. In his mind's eye, he saw the white of the cocaine in each packet and smiled.

He had scored the blow from a new dealer and had had a huge sample with the dealer in the men's room at the Exchange right after the close.

He was still plenty high; the shit had been smooth, smooth like fresh snow, no burn at all, definitely not bleach and definitely not cut
