I first made Bridget’s acquaintance at a meeting in a conference room at a small hotel. My name is Gary Goodhart and I work as actor in porn videos. Nice work if you can get it. The meeting was about the terms and conditions of work for the actors in the business. In other words it was about pay. As in most industries the women were receiving about half the pay the men were getting for doing the same work. Gathered around the table that day were a few fellow actors, male and female, their agents, as well as representatives of the movie companies who made the videos. Bridget, I discovered was an agent for some of the actresses. As often happens the meeting ended with no firm decisions or conclusions, only that the film companies would get back to us with their proposals. Bridget accompanied me down from the meeting room in the lift and we agreed to have a coffee together. She knew a small, pleasant café just down the road and we walked that way.

Bridget Nugent was a very attractive, dark haired woman in her late thirties with an Iberian appearance. Later I discovered that she had a Spanish mother. She was tallish, with long slender legs, a good figure, proud nose and a sensuous mouth. For me it was nice, for once, to be conversing with a more mature woman. Most of the females I worked with were usually nubile young chicks, like me in their mid twenties. All of them were extremely glamorous, vivacious and with figures to die for, but unfortunately some of them were not very bright. When we sat down at a table in the café I could immediately tell that Bridget was a completely different proposition.

After we had ordered coffee we began to talk about the matters that were raised at the meeting. Her warm brown eyes held my avid attention. ‘The trouble is that at the moment, with the economic crisis, these girls have trouble finding any sort of work,’ she said. ‘Most of them are trained as models, but there is just not enough of that work about, so they have to take this type of employment to make any sort of living.
