    One

    Working in the computer lab, Andrew figured he had a lot of work to do. He was the one that could get a computer started in no time. Running the computer lab had its perks.

    And since he had gotten the job at the university, Andrew had been studying up on all the new manuals to make sure he had it all figured out.

    He got a new piece of equipment every semester and took the time to figure it out before putting it to use.

    He had a bachelor’s degree in computer science and knew how to put a computer together and get it running in a matter of hours.

    He was considered the computer nerd. And he offered a rate of 12 dollars an hour to fix computers for any student.

    Not that it took much. He knew how to fix viruses and was working on a program that would prevent any virus from coming about. He was so close.

    So close to getting that program figured out.

    If only the next semester would get here sooner.

    That was it: he could use some of his paycheck to put it forward.
