About this ebook
The poetry is about life in the slums of the big cities of Africa.Civilization has forced people with different habits, characters and behaviors in general to live together and share the resources amongst them. This are the disadvantages of civilization,it makes them to carry each others burdens.
Some of this people are Vampires, others night runners, others are con men,and others do all sorts of weird things ,just to get living. The poetry is about what goes on between these people in their lives in the same environment but from different origins.

The First Time That We Met
The firs time I met him,
judging from his dressing,
i thought he was a gentleman,
then i later discovered!!
I didn’t expect him to be what he is,
he is the opposite,
he’s a monster,
completely an animal!!
He lured me in to respecting him,
by the way he dressed,
his talk,
was that of a priest?
So,
i opened all the doors for him,
and let him to know,
my backyard.
Little did I know,
that he is ,
the same man ,
on the most wanted criminals lists.
That is what I expected of you sir,
mysteriously
your name is turning up,
on the lists of criminals in our neighborhood!
The people are furious,
it ain’t a laughing matter,
they want to know the truth,
the truth about you.
There is enough proof,
that you are one of them,
one of the gun trotting guys,
they saw you costume among them.
So my dear neighbor,
today, we ask you,
to declare your stand,
which side do you belong to?
Am beginning,
to shy away from you,
so is everybody,
i can’t just understand you sir!!
The other day,
you told me that’
you hurt your hand in an accident
the rumors about it are different.
You are wearing,
a doctor’s plaster,
yet you are denying it,
are you sure that you are not cheating me?
For your information,
there is a list of suspects,
on the chiefs notice board
where will you hide?
How will you,
convince the whole neighbor,
that it wasn’t you,
yet they have your image.
How the hell,
d’you expect me ,
to continue trusting you,
when you look like this?
It is over neighbor,
you have nowhere to go,
you have no
