About this ebook
Both ladies (Wanda and K) have sons who are also the best of friends. These two young ladies both have live-in boyfriends who are not their kids fathers. K's man (Velt) cheated on her in the past, and its something thats hard for her to forget, although Wanda wants her friend to be more forgiven of him in their almost perfect relationship because she knows that Velt is a real farther to his family, and he loves her son deeply.
Wandas man (Jake) use to be a homebody, she met when he was on vacation; he fell in love with her and decided to stay in town. Wanda took it to her advantage that he didnt know too many people in town, so she continued to hang out, leaving him home to baby-sit her son many nights. K wants Wanda to stop being so careless with her male friends, and to pay more attention to her present relationship before her man leaves her for good.
These two friends spend a lot of time together shopping, talking on the phone, or just hanging out with the kids. K becomes pregnant and is unsure if she should have a baby from a man who cheated on her before. After a long conversation with her boyfriend and a lot of forgiveness, K decides to keep the baby. She shares her news with another good friend of hers, who agrees with Wanda about the love Velt has for her and her son.
The almost sudden death of a male friend, leaves K upset and confused, but Wanda is right there by her side to comfort her though it all, she even flys out of town with K to attend the funeral and meet his family for the first time.
Soon after they returned to town, the tables are quickly turned, and now its Wanda who needs love and support from her best friend. K support and encourage Wanda to live, she convinces her to fight for her life, her son, her strength, and most of all their friendship, because she doesnt want to loss her best friend. Together they learn to live each day as it comes, no matter what it bring; and trust me, it brings unbelievable surprises.

Dedication
This book is dedicated to a very close friend of mine, who lost her fight against AIDS several years ago. She was a wonderful caregiver who had a love and tolerance for kids like no one else I‘ve ever known. They were her biggest fans and she left them so full of her love. I will remember you always, my friend
Your Life Through My Eyes
is also dedicated to everyone who has ever went through or is going through something that they feel is to much for them to bare. Hold on; keep holding on, it will get better.
A Dream
When I hear the word gun, my body starts to shake
And I hope it’s not my life that it’s coming to take
When I see a fight, I’m ready to run
because getting hit in the face, just isn’t any fun
Last night I had a dream that the violence ceased
No more stealing and killing, we were living in peace
No more criminal minds, we were having a feast
The barbeque was good; the bake-beans were great
The jealousy and hate left my plate
I awoke to realize it was a mistake
My dream was just a dream and the barbeque was fake
A Talk with Death
MARY
What’s up Death, I heard you were in the neighborhood and I wanted to have a talk with you, if you have a minute
DEATH
What is it Mary, I am a little busy, I have about a thousand stops to make today
MARY
a thousand stops! What happened, another attack over seas?
DEATH
No, that’s just the average number for today; tomorrow it could be a little more or a little less
MARY
Wow! That’s crazy; those many people die in a day?
DEATH
So what was it you needed to ask me Mary because I have to get going
MARY
I want to know how you feel about what you do.
DEATH
You mean about me taking people out of this life on to the next?
MARY
Yes
DEATH
Well you know what they say, somebody has to do it. I feel bad for most people and their families, especially the kids because they are so young. Like yesterday I had to go by the hospital to take a seven year old that got shot while out in the yard with his older brother
MARY
What happened?
DEATH
His brother was dealing drugs and lost a lot of money in a deal gone bad, the supplier thought it was a set-up but it really wasn’t
MARY
And he tried to kill the guy but accidentally shot his brother?
DEATH
Yes, that was a hard take, it was so sad at the hospital, I wish there was something I could have done but it’s not my call, I had to do what I came to do
MARY
So you do have feelings, you’re not that cold hearted bastard people make you out to be
DEATH
Sometimes I can get heartless when it comes to the worthless ones like rapists and murderers
MARY
So you don’t have a choice in who you have to get? Do you know ahead of time, like who you have to get next week or next year?
DEATH
No Mary, I don’t, I just roam the streets day and night taking the breath out of those bodies that are on my list at a given time.
MARY
Why do people look at you so strangely when you are present?
DEATH
Because once I approach them, they know exactly who I am and what I come for
MARY
So how long have you been doing this job?
DEATH
Since the beginning of time and will be doing it until the end of time
MARY
Did you die and come back as Death
DEATH
Listen Mary I can’t answer all your questions baby, I have to be going now, there are so many people waiting on me
MARY
They’re probably glad you’re late, gives them a little more time to breath
DEATH
Good day Mary, I’ll see you later
MARY
Much Later!!! Good-Bye Death
