    Fitness is one of the important things that everyone must possess. It does not make our lives difficult, but it actually helps us to have a much healthier life. Practicing fitness helps us get rid of various diseases just like heart problems and high cholesterol. For those people who are also having issues with obesity, they need to practice fitness. This may be hard at times. However, we will surely love its effects not just on the external side, but also most importantly on the internal side.

    Fitness in the Modern Times

    Today, fitness is treated differently. We do not have to join the Olympic Games to get fit. The simple things that we do at home can already be a way of practicing fitness or being fit. Fitness is practiced in a more relaxed and enjoyable way. Having a walk with your dog at the park early in the morning can already be considered as practicing fitness, as well as watering the plants in the morning and afternoon.

    Even kids in school are taught to be fit. Aside from entertaining them, this is also for them to be constantly active. During this time, the practice of fitness is not yet treated seriously. Kids will always move from time to time. As we get older, we can also notice that fitness becomes a part of the curriculum through the subject Physical Education. Some of the things that we do with this subject are jogging, dancing, or any form of exercise. Calisthenics is also a part of this course. We execute the different movements without the need to use any equipment. At times, this would hurt, but eventually, you will be able to love the routines that you will learn. We are taught from basic to more advanced routines that greatly help in staying fit. It has also become a requirement to pass the Physical Education subject in order to graduate from school. This is done for the sake of the students. Reading their books is not enough. There is also a need to be active physically in order to stay fit.

    Some people are required by their jobs to be physically fit. Take for example the police officers. They are required to be fit all the time. Their job is a very important one and absolutely requires fitness. This is why when some
