But for those who reject Jesus it will be totally different. After death they will suffer in the most horrifying place called hell. All that he or she has will be taken away (Luke 19:26). Hell is a place of total loss. All will be sorrow, unending regret and torment.
So the choice we make in this life is enormous. None of us can escape. None of us can ignore the supernatural world of God. When you die you are instantly ushered into eternity. At that point the unseen world will be your only reality. You must be ready. The choice you've made in this world will determine your destiny.
Most people who don't believe are not aware that they are being deceived by evil powers of darkness. The goal of these evil invisible powers is to rob people of everything that God created them to be. They destroy people's lives by taking advantage of the human tendency to sin. Through the attractions of sin they blind people to the truth. Through lies and deceptions they keep people in bondage to a reign of evil darkness that will eventually take them into hell.
Jesus came into our world to rescue us. Through faith in Him our eyes are opened to a brand new way of life and we are set free from the grip of evil. The fact that God would offer this opportunity to everyone shows how much He loves us. This makes the incredible invisible spiritual world of God extremely relevant to us.

Chapter 1

Answers to Life's Questions

We are all born into this mysterious world that is not at all easy to understand. All types of questions disturb us: What is the purpose of life? Why am I here on earth? What is the meaning of it all? What happens to me when this life is over?

These are questions that I started thinking seriously about when I was still in my twenties. Intuitively I felt that there had to be more to life than what I had experienced. I didn't like the kind of life I was living. There was something inside of me saying, There has to be more to life. What I am experiencing can't be all there is. So I started on a journey to find answers. The supernatural had always intrigued me; if it held some secret that I had not yet discovered, I wanted to find it.

But the more I searched, the more disillusioned I became. I felt that if life didn't have some deeper meaning and purpose then it just didn't make sense. I needed something to relieve the emptiness within, something that would answer the many questions about life that disturbed me.

I looked especially hard for books that gave insights into the meaning and purpose of life. Whenever I found one that looked promising I would rush home and with anticipation of discovery would search through it from cover to cover in the hope of finding something that would satisfy the need deep inside.

Yet as sincerely as I searched the answers to life's big questions kept eluding me: What is life really about? Why do things happen the way they do? Is there any purpose behind this mixed up and confused world? I would always draw a blank.

For the most part the answers I found only confused me more. They left me empty and without hope. I felt lonely and unloved, even though I had plenty of friends. I was searching for something and yet I didn't know what. I was hoping there was more to life than just blindly existing from day to day. How could you just carry on and make the best of what seemed to be a pointless life?

At that time I would have given anything for an answer that satisfied that need within. But as much as I wished I had the answer, I didn't. I had found nothing that satisfied this hunger for a deeper purpose to life.

Little did I know then that the search to satisfy this deep inner need would set me on a path that would alter my life for all time!

Many years have passed since then. But only a few years after starting this search, an amazing thing happened to me. I experienced a spiritual encounter with God. He revealed Himself to me and showed me that it is through Him that we find the secret to life. This is what I want to share with you.

That inner conviction that cries out in our hearts that life must have a much greater meaning and purpose isn't just some unreal notion. There is a void or emptiness inside each one of us that can only be filled by God. And until we allow God to fill this void, we will never find peace and fulfillment; inner satisfaction and true happiness will continue to elude us.

Millions of people in the world have discovered this spiritual dimension of life. They have become aware of the unseen realm of God. They have experienced a spiritual side of life that has opened up a whole new meaning and purpose to life.

It's not just something we imagine. It's real. It's something every person longs to experience, yet doesn't know it. And it's the only thing that will satisfy that deep inner need in each one of us.

Psychologists and people that study human behaviour tell us that one of the deepest desires of the human heart is to spend this life in a worthwhile and meaningful way. We want this life to matter. We want to be something, to make some lasting impression on the world. It's basic to our very nature.

Most of us try to do this by our own good intentions. But sooner or later we find things just don't turn out the way we thought they would. Finding the way in this perplexing world is not easy. It's a real challenge. There are forces at work that confuse rather than direct. We stray down wrong roads and blind alleys. And we wonder, Is this all there is to life?

Some people accept this as just the way life is. They continue on this roller coaster day after day without knowing why they are on it or where they are going. Some fill their life with activity so they don't have time to think about these questions that haunt us relentlessly.

But for others this is not enough. They need to dig deeper and satisfy that inner yearning, that inner emptiness that cries out for something more. They need to find the purpose behind it all, that purpose that gives meaning to daily living.

Created in God's Image

It's a fascinating thing to discover that there is a spiritual side to your nature. This spiritual life is possible because each one of us has a human spirit. It is because of this spirit that you long for some deeper meaning and purpose to life. You hunger for something to fill the emptiness within. You remain unfulfilled in a way you cannot explain. You feel as if something is missing from your life, but you can't put your finger on what it is. It's all because you are missing the spiritual side of your life. Until God fills this void within you, you will never be a fulfilled person.

Though you may not have received spiritual life from God yet, traces of the image of God are still evident within you. Whether we like it or not, the image of God is in our hearts. We can't escape that fact. Therefore we all have a family resemblance to God. Why? Because God created us in His image! That's why deep down every human being alive today senses that there is more to life than just the few years spent on this earth.

Intuitively you know that life consists of more than is seen. Though you may not be aware of this latent spirit in the depths of your soul, this is what gives you the need to experience the spiritual aspect of life in the supernatural dimension. It is what makes you very different from animals. It makes you want to discover the truth about life and understand the reason you are alive on this earth.

Many people think they can find answers on their own without God. Consequently they look to limited human wisdom which only leads them to not understand spiritual truth. They remain with this empty feeling on the inside. True meaning and purpose escapes them. They miss out on the greatest adventure of life.

What they are really searching for is a relationship with God that brings spiritual life. This brings fulfillment, meaning and purpose to their entire person. The amazing thing is that God has made this possible for ordinary people. We can experience life with God while still living on this earth. This can really happen to every person willing to receive Jesus into their life.

Your Greatest Opportunity

Jesus' purpose is to give abundant life in all its fullness (John 10:10). He came to give you a fulfilled and meaningful life. The excitement of His presence living in you and revealing this higher level of life is the most precious experience any human being can have.

The fact that this opportunity is available to you makes you an extremely privileged person. There is no greater treasure: Jesus Christ, who is above every other authority and power in both the seen and unseen universe, comes and shares His life with you.

God gives life for a much greater purpose than just existing on this planet for a few years. There is an eternity waiting for you and God has plans for you throughout eternity. He created you to walk with Him, to be in touch with Him now and forever. He has provided the way whereby you can have the full assurance of eternal life and be set free from the emptiness of life without God.

But you chose whether or not to accept God's way. That's why God has given each one of us a free will. You decide if you will have faith in God. You decide whether to accept His love and plan for your life. It's a choice each one has to make. The result of that choice goes far beyond the few years spent on this earth. It determines where you spend eternity.

It's scary to think about what happens to you if you don't believe. Seconds after death you will wish you had recognized it as the thing that mattered most. If you properly understood the high personal cost of rejecting God's way you would instantly accept His offer.

An Indescribable Experience

Your life will never seem complete until you possess life with God. This new life with God will provide you with spiritual riches from the supernatural dimension on a scale you never thought possible. You'll see that you truly can be far more than is visible in this world. God has made a way for you to break forth into a brand new life. This spiritual life will bring you in touch with the supernatural world.

Chapter 2

Blinded by invisible evil powers!

Most people living today are not aware that there are evil invisible powers working to destroy their lives. The goal of these evil powers is to rob people of everything that God created them to be. These evil spiritual powers do this by blinding people to the truth. They know that physical death on this earth is not the end. By blinding people to the truth, they keep people in bondage to a reign of darkness that is in the world all around us.

How do you know whether you are one of those who are being blinded? It all depends on how you react to the name of Jesus Christ. If you try to avoid anything to do with Jesus then you are being influenced by these evil powers of darkness. If you don't want anyone to tell you anything about Him, then you are being blinded. If you think He is just an ordinary man with an opinion of His own, then you are being blinded. If you don't want to hear about why He came to earth or what He did, then you are being blinded. If you don't believe heaven and hell are real places, then you are being blinded. If you don't believe that God, the Father, sent Jesus to save us from hell, then you are being blinded. And the list goes on and on.

The Bible warns us to save ourselves from this corrupt generation (Acts 2:40). God is warning us to not simply follow along with things happening around us in the world. If we do that we will be misled and deceived. That's what God wants to save you from. If you allow yourself to go along with all these things that are blinding you to the truth, then you are living a lie created by demonic powers of evil. And you have left yourself open to be controlled by evil invisible powers of darkness whose goal it is to destroy your life.
