About this ebook

Not much is known about the Blood of Jesus today by Christians but it is a mighty arsenal weapon against the devil. There is life in the Blood of Jesus and none is in Satan. He is called Beelzebub, being interpreted; the lord of flies. Flies are attracted to dead things but the Blood of Jesus has life in it so the devil is repelled by it and cannot penetrate it. Many years ago, the word of God was revealed saying, "Make much of the Blood and the Blood will make much of you." For a while, Christians did make much of the Blood and as a result, many signs and wonders were seen. However, today there is not much that is said about the Blood. Has it lost its power? Certainly not, but we have lost knowledge of it and therefore, we haven't seen mighty acts of God as did the early disciples. But the time has come and now is for us to make full usage of this powerful weapon that God has given us. God's word does not change. What He said years ago, applies to us today and He said, "Make much of the Blood and the Blood will make much of you."

    Foreknowledge

There has not been much taught about the Blood of Jesus in the last fifty or sixty years but there was a time when people honored the Blood. They honored it so much so that they saw signs and wonders a lot. The bible tells us that signs and wonders will follow us, have you seen much of that lately? Sure, we have seen some things sparingly but nothing compared to what the church did and saw back in the 1900’s and definitely not like the early church; with just the shadow of Peter passing by, people got healed; an apron from Paul’s body and people were healed. The dead were raised back to life, demons were cast out, and miracles after miracles were done by the disciples in the name of Jesus on a massive scale. What did they have then that we don’t have now?

Jesus’ commission to them and to us is found in Mark 16:15 and verses 17-18. And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. And these signs will follow those who believe; in My name, they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. The early church did all those things but somewhere down the line, we have missed something; what is it? Having our hearts sprinkled with the Blood of Jesus. They knew about blood Covenant and had known of it for many years, so it was not that difficult for them to minister as Jesus had said to do but the Blood is not preached or pleaded nowadays; it has been laid to the side for the most part.

In this book, there will be a lot said about the Blood of Jesus which was given to me by the Holy Spirit, things I didn’t know but He has revealed it to me and it has changed my life. The Holy Spirit is our Helper and He will guide us into all the truth. To God be the glory, honor, and the praise forever and ever. Amen.

    Chapter One

Not Much is Known About the Blood Today

Has the Blood lost its power? Certainly not, but we have lost our power or, rather, faith in the Blood of Jesus and that suits the devil just fine. You see, Satan cannot stand in the presence of the Blood of Jesus nor can his demonic force. The Blood of Jesus has life in it and there is no life in the devil; in fact, he is called Beelzebub, the lord of flies. You know that flies are attracted to dead things, so since the Blood has life in it, Satan is repelled by it; he cannot stand in the presence of the Blood nor can he penetrate it. If Satan is able to penetrate the Blood of Jesus or break through it, that would mean he’s more powerful than God; certainly, that is not true because the Blood that Jesus had in Him is God’s own Blood and nothing is more powerful than it. There has been so much taught about faith, grace, righteousness, the blessing of Abraham, love, tithing and much more which are all wonderful and true but one thing has been missing; the Blood. Before we can obtain those things listed above, there had to be first the shedding of the Blood. There’s more to the Blood than just remission of sin which we are most familiar with. For we basically know that the Blood cleanses us from our sins and that makes us righteous in God’s eye sight, but it doesn’t stop there. Unfortunately, we do and because of that, we have missed out on a lot.

1st John 5:6 reads This is He who came by water and Blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and Blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is true. The water typifies the word of God. He sent His Son to save us from our sins. The Blood is the very pure Blood of God, the Father. Jesus couldn’t have Mary’s blood in Him because her blood was tainted like everyone else due to the fall of Adam so the Blood that was in Jesus was that of the Father; God Himself and that is why Jesus is called the sinless Lamb of God. Jesus had the life of God in His Blood which is why He said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. He is the way to the Father because He came to show us the Father. In John 14:8-9, Philip said to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us. Jesus said to him, Have I been with you so long and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, show us the Father?

Jesus is the truth because He never spoke a word of His own, all that He said and did was of what He heard the Father said to say or do. John 5:19-20 says, Then Jesus answered and said to them, ‘most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do, for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does, and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.’

Jesus is the Life, as stated above; the very life of God was and still is in the Blood of Jesus and Jesus came to us by the word of God and by the Blood of God. It would stand to reason that if Jesus came into this world by Blood, then everything else must come by the Blood.

I am convinced that the reason why our prayers are delayed or hindered is because we do not honor the Blood. We know to pray the word of God back to Him in Jesus name but we have omitted the Blood which is vital to getting our petitions granted. We need to have our hearts sprinkled with the Blood. What does that mean? It means that we should be conscious of what Jesus done for us on the cross; He shed His Blood for us; this is what we should remember when we come before God. Jesus’ Blood is sprinkled on the mercy seat in heaven for us. When He arose from the dead, He went to heaven and offered His Blood there by sprinkling it on the mercy seat and then He returned to earth and appeared to His disciples for a while before His ascent into heaven from the Mount of Olives.

It was very necessary for Jesus to offer His Blood upon the mercy seat of God so that we could receive mercy. His Blood speaks mercy and pardon on our behalf before God but that is not all that it speaks; it speaks justification for us so that we can receive all the promises of God. Of our own self efforts, we are not justified; never have been and never will without the shedding of His Blood. Therefore, because He shed His Blood, we are deemed justified. So, by faith in the Blood, we can boldly come to the Father and receive whatever we need or want.

    God Himself Honors the Blood:

God is not trying to withhold anything from us. He didn’t spare His own Son but gave Him up so that we could be saved and restored. Roman 8:32 reads He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? If God would withhold anything from us then that would mean He values things more than His own Son; so, since we know that is not true then there must be another reason why things are delayed for us. Therefore, we should check out the manner in which we approach Him. As we come into God’s presence, we should be conscious of the Blood of Jesus, that is what He honors and if we honor it, we are sure to get what we want or need because the Blood has secured for us every redemptive blessing of God.

What are the redemptive blessings of God? First and most important is the Blood which cleanses us of sin. Jesus’ Blood provided forgiveness of sin; Hebrews 9:22 reads And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. The bible says that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God but His Blood has cleansed us of all unrighteousness. Without the shedding of Blood, the bible says, none are righteous; not one. It further said that our righteousness is as filthy rags so it requires blood for cleansing, for the remission of sin. The other redemptive blessings are wisdom, righteousness, and sanctification according to 1st Corinthians 1:30.

The Blood of Jesus has brought us near to God. Ephesians 2:13 reads But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the Blood of Christ. Jesus death on the cross broke down the middle wall of separation between God and us. Now we can boldly come into His presence with a clear conscience. His Blood has delivered us from a life
