Please, right this way sir. The beautiful hostess with the handsome pearls and the slim black dress beckoned for Benny to follow her through the black, velvet curtain.

Benny straightened his back, thrust back his shoulders and puffed out his chest, doing his best to look the part.

Only alpha males here, he told himself.

Apparently, his credentials had held up under scrutiny. He followed the woman through the curtain and into the unknown, completely unsure of what to expect. His every sense was sharpened. The journey to this point had begun out of sheer curiosity. Only more riddles had emerged as the details had become unraveled about this place and its list of important guests.

The mystery of this place had only grown before him and as it did it had become an obsession. Now Benny’s heart raced as he found himself on the cusp of its great secret. He was marched in mystified silence through a dark, cavernous room.

Benny had been certain before that his invitation to this place had come to him by mistake. Almost certainly it was intended for his father who shared the same name; a rich and powerful man that Benny had barely seen in his life. After his father's recent, mysterious death, Benny, his only heir, discovered him to be a man of a thousand strange secrets like this.

Benny had tried to investigate this place since, desperately pondering where this piece fit into the enigma that was his father’s secret life. By all official accounts, this place did not exist. All he could learn of it he'd had to do so with his own senses.
