About this ebook

Davis Beaumonte III got the shit kicked out of him at the end of "Nice Guys Always Finish" only to be saved by his former gang banger friend Bonnie and the mysterious Pei Pei whom Davis is supposed to be chaperoning. In this continuing story of his many ordeals, Davis wakes up to find himself in a hospital room. Initially oblivious to everything that happened to him, he starts to remember what's been going on and who's out to get him before it's too late. Motivated to change the course of his life, Davis decides to put his fears aside and strike out on his own as long as Bonnie and Pei Pei are by his side.

Where am I? Wait a minute…who am I? This isn’t funny; this is real and to be honest it’s downright frightening. I take a series of quick breaths and fortunately after a few more anxious minutes of wondering, my mind starts to wake up. Okay, I’m Davis Beaumonte the third and it feels, looks, and smells like I’m in a hospital. I have one hell of a headache, I can see out of one eye, and my mid-section is wrapped tightly. What the hell happened?

The last thing I remember was getting my ass kicked by a bunch of skin heads so they must’ve really done a number on me. Good thing Pei Pei and Bonnie were able to get me here in time. I guess I passed out in the car on the way over.

I really owe the both of them my life. If it weren’t for them I might have gone end of watch because as my memory grows I recall that the leader of that pack had pulled out his steel. Hey, changing the narrative here let the past be the past because that gorgeous thing over there must be one of my nurses. Maybe in reality, hopefully, I’ve died and gone to heaven. Damn she’s fine; the perfect mix of height, curves, skin, and hair. Minus the pain I went through to be here she’s definitely a sight for sore eyes. Oh, oh…yep, it still works thank God. I’m going to have to figure out how to turn my body or lift a leg so she doesn’t see this.

Oh, you’re awake Mister Beaumonte, she says in a soft yet sexy tone. It’s good to see that you’ve come to. Give me a minute and I’ll be right over to check your vitals.

Down boy, down, I say quietly to myself trying my best to concentrate as to not create an embarrassing situation. However, as I continue to sweat this I conclude that since I’m dressed in this flimsy hospital gown, she’s probably more than likely the person who put it on. She’s already seen my fat rolls and small appendage. I really have nothing to hide but I don’t want her to get the wrong idea.

Okay, this won’t take but a second,
