About this ebook
When we look at the ordinary in an extraordinary way, sometimes we can see something about ourselves that we have not seen before.
Poetry, like song, is more about the message than the form. The form helps create a state of mind in which artistic expression finds a home.
Let us, together, enjoy a walk down a path which would not exist but for the sharing of our minds.
Howard Feigenbaum
Howard Feigenbaum published his first poem in the school newspaper when he was in fifth grade. Poetry is like music. There is rhythm, sound, and feeling expressed in verse. The poet, like any artist, reveals to the world an idea or an image designed to transport the mind. In the process, a small part of the poet is revealed as well. The book's title poem, I Wish I Were A Soul Train Dancer, won "Best of Show", Poetry Category, in the 2008 Diamond Valley Festival of the Arts, Riverside County, California.
