Over the years he has used his writing as a cover and shield from the harsh realities of life. To him, words are empowering. In one of his early writings, he declares boldly, “I am a lion on paper but a mouse in cotton,” an apt description of the strength he feels when writing as opposed to his generally shy and retiring demeanour.
He has written for his college paper in the United States and for national papers in Nigeria. He has also written for and edited a magazine for one of his previous employers in the UK, and at one point had two successful blogs, “Chelsea Rules, OK?” and “In My Humble Opinion”.
In real life, he has extensive global experience in technology sales. Taj was born in the United Kingdom and has spent considerable time living in the United States and Nigeria. He is an avid Chelsea Football Club and Prince fan.
