DEDICATION
To my two grandchildren, Blake and Breonna Batchelor.
At the end of his second grade school year, Blake’s assignment was to write a book.

During the school year, bedtime for the kids was nine o’clock sharp, but with school out, Dad relented.
OK, you may watch the news, but then it’s off to bed.
They sat through stories of car wrecks, pollution and politics and, at last, the weatherman appeared.
