Not The Teacher’s Pet ~ Staring at the clock on the wall waiting for seven more minutes to pass, LollipopSÜger nicknamed ~Lolli~ was thinking of only one thing.

Rushing home from school to play her new Wii2 game she bought last Saturday evening with her allowance she had been saving up for quite some time.

Not paying one single bit of attention to her teacher giving out the class’s homework assignment.

Mrs. Billingsmore was standing right at Lolli’s side repeating to Lolli the question she had just asked the class, Lolli …What pages does the class have to do in math tonight?

Lolli looked up at the teacher with a blank stare.

What? Lolli answered like she was being annoyed.

Nikki knowing the teacher could not see her… sticks her tongue out at Lolli.

Lolli’s attention was now drawn away from the teacher. Lolli loudly shouts out at Nikki, STOP IT!

Mrs. Billingsmore reprimanded Lolli by telling her she will stay in her class after school and write a three page summary on How to show respect in Class.

Then Mrs. Billingsmore reminded her she was in the fifth grade and she needed to learn how to be more responsible after yelling and seeing Lolli make a face at Nikki.

Lolli thought this was all she needed… Not today!

Thirty minutes later the bell rang and the class started to quickly leave when Susie stopped at Lolli’s desk and told her she would wait for her in the front of the school at the bike racks.

"Don’t worry said Lolli, I will write the summary super-fast, and then we can go to my house and play the Wii game.

Susie begged Lolli to just sneak out of class and say she forgot about the summary if the teacher caught her.

Mrs. Billingsmore over hearing the conversation of the two girls knew she had to teach them both the importance of listening and paying attention.

Susie and Lolli both started for the door when the teacher instantly told both of the girls to take their seats.

Susie being caught off guard by this started to say, But…but

Mrs. Billingsmore cut her off with, No buts about it Susie

Again, she asked them both to please have a seat.

Mrs. Billingsmore called the office over the class intercom to ask the assistant to please call the girls homes and let their parents know they had to stay after school and they would have to come pick them up at five o’clock.

No! Please Mrs. Billingsmore! Lolli begged.

She knew if her mother had to pick her up from school due to after school
