Kaye also has published another erotic novel “Haunting Experiences” and Free Radicals is nearly ready for publishing as an eBook in 2011. Other than the fractured fairy tale about the nanoelf, Kaye’s erotica centers on the sometimes private lifestyles of professionals who want more from romances than kiss-and-not-tell. With a sigh and a languid glance around the small bathroom, Melanie crossed both legs at the ankles to feel her slender and shapely thighs push her labia together, and, in turn, start the squeeze that pressed against her still swollen clitoris. Of late and with greater frequency, she retreated into the office water closet to masturbate away the onset of a tension headache that inevitably followed sessions with difficult clients.

A young and attractive man wanted her to help defraud the government on his tax return; and the thought of a two-year hitch at a nearby correctional institution for women had zero appeal to Melanie. Where she had an initial fascination for Roger Winsted, it vanished when he presented his flimsy case with a wink and a promise to buy her a drink after work if she did that. Maybe even dinner, if you’ve got time, he leered.

She rebuffed the attempt by passing Roger on to her supervisor before quietly excusing herself to take care of a personal matter, smiling in apology for the mini-emergency of the moment as she retrieved her purse from under the desk.

That’s the second time today, Melanie whispered as she pulled her panties up with both hands, turned to flush the toilet and smoothed her skirt in place. With only hot water running, she sniffed her finger, smiled and soaped her hand, as she always did before and after masturbating. Staring into her eyes in the mirror, she announced: What a waste and a shame, but that’s life; though I wonder how far the supe will let him get with a bogus return like that.

Her five minutes of solace over, she opened the door and peered around the corner to make sure no one lingered in the storeroom that separated the john from the outer office. Turning off the light and exhaust fan while leaving the door ajar to indicate the room’s availability, she busied herself with creating a handful of new welcoming packets. Her delay also gave the supe an opportunity to deal with Roger without her.

When she filled ten envelopes with the stack of forms required to launch a client-return, Melanie returned to the open bay where she and several others conducted interviews and completed tax filings. She avoided eye-contact with Roger, dropped her purse on the floor in the knee-well of her desk and sat down to wait for the receptionist to escort another person to her.

After quickly dispatching a simple return for an alien illegally working in the country, she glanced over at the supe who still dealt with Roger. Melanie gave him a wan smile and motioned to the receptionist to accept the next customer, an older and stately gentleman who carried a thick and well-worn portfolio.

Melanie rose and gestured for him to take the lone side-chair at her desk while she reviewed his preliminary questionnaire. Looking down at the papers, she said: "So, Mister Siegfried…

He matched her weak smile with a kinder one and said: "Please call me Gordon, Miss …

I’m Melanie, Melanie Hildebrand, Gordon. And I’m sorry for not introducing myself. My last client threw me a couple of curves and I … Well, never mind. It’s not important. She looked at the neatly lettered sheaf of personal information and admired the precise way he completed each form. If he’s as thorough as he is careful, this will be a breath of fresh air after Roger over there and Juanita a moment ago.
