    PROLOGUE

This is a collection of essays that can be brought under two broad headings. The first titled the thief, the door and the window with the other one; the thief and the person have the same theme and the former is the title of the book. The other essays have love as their reoccurring theme. The essays are not much volume wise but each has a message that I believe will strike a chord or two in the heart that is open. I believe the essays are a blessing waiting to manifest in the live of someone.

The thief, the door, and the window

He prowls, He keeps and it shows

    Steals, holds, reveals

The thief, the door, and the window

The enemy, the friend, it’s about your soul

    Defeated, befriended, and kept.

    CHAPTER ONE

THE THIEF, THE DOOR AND THE WINDOW

The thief only comes to steal kill and destroy. John 10:10

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. John 10:1

The thief can only come in to kill, steal and destroy. This is an innate nature that the thief cannot run away from. Even when he or she comes in without being aware of his or her own true intent i.e. it is disguised even to the thief, but because he or she is a thief he can only but destroy. This might seem absurd i.e. a thief not knowing that He or she is really a thief. To get to the reality of this we have to look at the spiritual source that it emanates from.

    THE THIEF

The first thief is the devil.

…He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it John 8:44

He actually holds the office of the thief, just as Jesus has the office of 'Sonship'. But we are not talking of the devil but those that walk in that spirit. So how can a thief not know that he or she is a thief? The assignation i.e. of the thief has nothing to do with appearance or even intentions as such but it has to do with point of entry.

    POINT OF ENTRY

By the way, all what we are doing here is just keeping faith with the scriptures that has already told us all we need to know about the thief. We have already said that we are not necessarily talking of the Devil but of people and or things. The underlying theme here is 'walking in the spirit' of the Devil who is The Thief. And this also is scriptural, Judas betrayed Jesus but the scripture giving us a deeper insight and stepping back to look at that particular event categorically declared:

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory 1 Cor.2:8

Now this does not just cover physical but spiritual entities since in some other place an interchange of words between spiritual entities took place.

"Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Ps.24:8

The fall out of His betrayal by one man was his crucifixion. It was not just the physical princes of this world that wanted him dead, the Devil and his spiritual princes wanted Him dead. In fact, the spiritual comes before the physical and it was the spiritual that influenced the physical to carry
