Breaking Down The Zeal of Thy House
()
About this ebook
Breaking Down The Zeal of Thy House is a collection of five essays focused on creating spiritual engagement. It is a Christian themed book. The five essays are Fitting Story, Justified, Moses & Noah- the Difference, Funny but True Armors, and Breaking Down The Zeal of Thy House.
Fitting Story looks at the dynamics and power of the story teller from a perspective that will hopefully provide fresh insight to those who read it and to those who have a particular interest on the importance of stories.
Justified takes a look at how people create audiences after their own image and Moses & Noah; the Difference is a short piece that points to a not so glaring but really important difference between these two biblical characters as it concerns the proclamations they made over the lives and destinies of the people they catered for.
Funny but True Armors focuses on some peculiar thing we draw courage from while Breaking Down the Zeal of Thy House breaks down a somewhat popular scriptural phrase.
They all have insights that may be new to some readers while it confirms what others have suspected to be true. Each essay is intended to be a blessing to the reader and that is the prayer I leave you with as you read them.

Preface
If I were to pick one word to describe this collection of essays, it would be stories. Who listens? Who tells? What about the audience? And who are the actors? The next word would be stage and dwelling on the second word would link us to the cast, crew and audience. Power resides with the storyteller to create. Power also resides with the audience to listen, interpret or chose not to. Power then becomes the third word that I would use to describe this collection of essays. These are themes you would find as you journey through this collection. This journey would give you the impetus to find and add your own singular words. A lot therefore depends on you. So thank you for picking this up. May it bless you in unimaginable ways as you read through.
Acknowledgement
I want to acknowledge you the reader. if only you knew the power you wield! It never ceases to amaze me how far the giver of all things has gone to make sure all things bow at your feet. The whole machinery of the Godhead is geared towards this eternal campaign to make you come to a singular realization. I acknowledge your grace. I acknowledge your reach. I acknowledge your value. I acknowledge you and without you, nothing will be written, no stories would be told.
Chapter 1: FITTING STORY
How to fit into a story. Everybody you come across is a story being written. Spiritually speaking, every story has been written already within the tapestry that is life.
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God
Hebrew 10:7
My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Psalms 45:1
Stories. Everybody you come across is a story being told. The big challenge is fitting into that story. Human psyche and make up seems to naturally set us up to presume that every story
