About this ebook

Mohit tried his best but he could not fit boy Jaidev in this gentleman’s figure. The man had very dry face, sunken cheeks, and eyes like two hollows. He had dark complexion, tanned in sun heat.

Seeing his unkempt hair, Mohit deduced that he was in some kind of trouble, or very much worried about something.

That man feigned laughter and said, showing the lines of his yellow teeth, “I have changed a lot, haven’t I?”

“Please have a seat,” said Mohit, shaking his wrinkled hand.

Having seated his friend comfortably on the sofa in front of him, Mohit came back to his place in front of the television and occupied his sofa. Mohit had an album of his school days, but the boy Jaidev in those photos was fair looking and handsome.

He is getting late for his office. He adjusted his tie around his collar. Suddenly, his wife, Aruna, appeared and she said, Your phone.

Who may be calling at this time in the morning?

Mohit generally goes to office at half past nine; still there are a few minutes left. Now hearing the words ‘your phone’ he seems to be angry.

Aruna added, The same fellow, your school friend.

School friend? Did he say his name?
