"Well Loved Knitted Dolls" is a collection of original knitted dolls patterns. The collection includes a basic 18 inch knitted doll pattern along with five doll outfits including accessories. If you can knit, purl, increase and decrease you can complete these adorable dolls. Included are patterns for a fireman, nurse, ballerina, jazz musician and little red riding hood.
The Knitter will have as much fun making these dolls as the recipient will have playing with these dolls. They will be "Well Loved"
Annie Tallbott
Annie is the mother of two son and Grandmother to two Grandsons. She is a retired Art teacher and has been an avid knitter for over 20 years. She also crochets, needlepoints, embrodieries, quilts and weaves. Annie lives in O'Fallon, Missouri with her dog Cookie.

Introduction
Once upon a time there was a little girl who loved to watch her grandmother as she sewed dresses for the little girl. She would sit on the end of her parent’s bed and watch her grandmother sew, first on a treadle sewing machine and later on a used singer. Her grandmother took great care to make every detail special in the dresses she created and she was very patient in explaining to her granddaughter what she was doing. She also taught her granddaughter to embroider and helped her make a nine patch quilt. This was the beginning of a life long love of the textile arts for the little girl. She grew up and her mother taught her to crochet, she bought a book and taught herself to knit and in college she learned to weave.
This little girl had another love, the love of dolls. When she was
