    Directions: Begin the hunt at 50 Post Street.

    1. San Francisco is a jungle of skyscrapers, but many don’t realize there is actually a green canopy on top of those skyscrapers known as:

    D. OOOPS

    Answer: A. POPOS. Known as Privately-Owned, Publically-Open Spaces. There are over a dozen such POPOS in downtown San Francisco. Hidden away on rooftops and tucked within an inner courtyard are gardens maintained for public use. So, let’s use one shall we?

    Directions: At 50 Post Street enter the Crocker Galleria take the elevator or stairs to the third floor. At the third floor, turn a left into the hall and exit the building through the first door on your left.

    2. Back when San Francisco was called Yerba Buena, the shoreline stretched ¾ of the way further inland. This street marks the border of where the Pacific Ocean once met the city.

    A. Sansome Street

    B. Kearny Street

    C. Grant Avenue

    D. Montgomery Street

    Answer: D. Montgomery Street. This rooftop terrace crowns the beautiful building of One Montgomery designed in 1908. From the terrace look East and imagine the Bay reaching Montgomery Street.
