About this ebook

In this book, I offer secret tips to help the alcoholic and persons closest to the alcoholic. Why do I refer to these tips as secret? These tips are secret because too many family members and alcoholics, who need the information the most, don’t have the information; it is secret to them. They don’t know what to do or where to get help. Thanks for letting me share what has been shared with me.

    INTRODUCTION

Nearly every person who reads this book has had more than a passing acquaintance with an alcoholic. I refer to the alcoholic throughout this book in the male gender because that is the more common scenario. Please feel free to substitute gender as you read if you are one of many husbands who have a wife who suffers from alcoholism. Many of you have been deeply affected by an alcoholic; in fact, there are more people affected by alcoholics than there are alcoholics. I am no exception. From my circle of friends to the hundreds
