About this ebook

This book is an epic journey of one man whose conflicted heart is on a quest for closure. The intentional gaps in logic and logistics, the designed disconnects of place and time forces your mind to engage the author in dialogues as you seek to bridge these gaps and connect the disconnects.
This dialogue will lead your mind on a quest for answers and in this posture of searching; Divine Wisdom will be there to guide you into the truth that is specific to you.
I feel confident in assuming that you have already experienced issues that challenge your desire or commitment to forgive. If you have not, let me put you on notice now, “you will.”
Knowledge and wisdom chooses whose door it will knock on and in whose dwelling it will reside. You have not chosen this little book of wisdom; it has chosen you!

Author

Jason Zephaniah III

Jason Zephaniah III is an enigma. He is a wise foolish man, a tall short man, and a strong weak man. A foolish man shows great wisdom when he realizes that his wisest wisdom is but foolishness and the foolishness of God confounds the wisdom of man. A man who stands up for the downtrodden and outcast; stands tall no matter how short he is and a man who is strong enough to hold on to Divine Strength is strong no matter how weak. The experience of Jaaziel reflects the author’s personal experience and his ongoing journey to forgiveness. Jason Zephaniah III is also a pseudo persona. Yet even in the pseudonym, there is a hidden message. The name literally means, “God is my Savior for Yahweh Hides” The author was inspired to use this name to remind him of those times in his life when Yahweh hid him from people and circumstances that sought to destroy him and saved him from the arrow that flew by day and the terror that lurked in the night.

    Dedication

I dedicate this book to anyone whom I need to forgive.

I dedicate this book to anyone who needs to forgive me.

I forgive those who I need to forgive even if they have not forgiven me.

I dedicate this book to all those who want to forgive but find themselves incarcerated behind the cold prison bars of unforgiveness.

I dedicate this book to all peoples of all nations, all creeds and all tongues. To forgive or to be forgiven is the universal language of love. If all people of all nations, tongues and creeds spoke this language and forgave the indiscretions of each other, this world would be a garden bearing the fruits of peace, patience and prosperity.

    Lost In the Forest

It is easy to get lost in a forest. Without a map of the area, hikers unfamiliar with the terrain could find it very confusing. I was lost in a forest once, and found it very exasperating trudging through thorny underbrush in a direction I was sure was the right way, only to find myself more deeply ensconced in the woods.

I would find myself going one way then another, each time being sure I was definitely heading the right way. Without any recognizable landmarks or any distinctive trails, I found myself lost.

Then almost by accident, I found myself on a recognizable path. I began to recognize some landmarks, some fallen trees, rocks and trashed appliances. I was on the right path without even knowing how I got there. Exasperation vaporized into exhilaration. A burden seemed lifted and I was free. Free from the helpless feeling of being a prisoner to the forest.

This happened in the forest behind my house, one warm Saturday afternoon on a hike down to the river with my son and
