Bobby Trill, Jr

Born in Chicago in the Autumn of 1975, life was a struggle without a dad. Realized at a young age that I was the black sheep. Not really feeling apart of my family, I rebelled against all aspects of my existence. I adopted an I dont give a #uck attitude and got into a lot of trouble. Finally settled down, found God and now my life is just beginning. Im now using my gifts to help build up families and communities as I continue to wrestle with my own downfalls. Poetry is one of those mediums.

Foreword

You are about to embark on a journey of the fragmented mishaps of my experiences. The poetry that will grace your eyes is a compilation of misadventures and various impressions of life that have affected me personally. I chose pieces that could spark new thoughts within the framework of stereotypical mentalities. My motivation to write this book was simply to share my experiences in hopes of helping others in their journey. I pray that you can take something away that can add to your life.

The contents of this book express the silhouette of a human being that is still being shaped by life’s’ hand. Be warned that it is raw and honest in its delivery. Keep an open mind and an open heart as you read. Special thanks to God and all the people that have played a hand in shaping me as a person.

Your eyes glassy in a daze

Have u dreaming about my sweet embrace

U just met me the other day

I am lust ur true love

I am a reality powered by your distorted faculties

An illusion created by ur senses

Senses that lead ur life and

Ultimately deprive u of being husband and wife

My origins are fallen from the stars above

In your perverted minds I am pure as a dove

I can set ur body on fire just from my touch

Have u smoldering like a volcano, ready to erupt

I dwell in the atmospheres of the club

Persuading u to make sweet lust

Leaving u after to realize

That it was just a quick nut

By then I have encompassed u with sin

Fueled your mass consumption of gin

Slowly corroding the goodness

That is now dormant deep within

Defiling a temple that was never yours

Turning lovemaking into an orgy,

Now ur my dirty little whores

Enslaved by my illusion

Multiplied by spiritual confusion

Encouraging fleshly prostitution

A pleasure to blind you with delusion

Sinister like a soul intrusion

Devouring love with my pollution

Rotting u from the core

Got u looking for the next score
