Preface

Well this story has played out many times in America. However this love story is just a bit different from any other love story. This story has been played out over a 25 year span. The two lives that came together as one only to be separated and find another to love, come back together in a most unusual way. This story will have you on the edge of your seat, it will make you smile, laugh, and maybe even cry a time or two. This is a great American love story between two American people, and souls that by fate and a couple of chance meetings have gone from being two individual’s to become ONE!

Chapter 1

Crystal

Crystal by definition is a symmetrical and having equal parts, or in other words a perfect see thru gem. Crystal in this story is a beautiful girl who is considered to be an angel by many. She was born on October 30th, 1977 in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was named for her parent’s love of minerals and earth rocks along with her mother’s favorite precious stone. Her middle name was a memento to her grandmother who had passed away a couple years earlier, Rose. Crystal Rose was born to Caroline and Dan Smith from Lafayette, CO. Her parents were in Fort Collins visiting her Aunt Denise and at 4:30pm baby was ready to come on out!! Crystal grew up in Lafayette, and was a wild child! She was an only child, and unfortunately her mom had an emergency hysterectomy a few years after Crystal was born. Crystal had many cousins to grow up with, and at age 3 she met her lifelong friend Rhonda. Her parents were a wonderful couple, very loving and caring. Her mom was a pediatric doctor, and her dad was an engineer, and also coached a city league football team. When Crystal was 6 her
