"A Lady’s Sacrifice" is all about the lengths that a woman will go to in order to find love.

This is a story of a young lady and boy who started dating in secondary school. The boy was called Raymond and the girl was called Linda. Linda and Raymond fell in love and everything was going on well in the beginning. Along the line, Raymond changed for he wanted to get more of women than he was already having. He started misbehaving and thought he could deceive Linda claiming to still be in love with her. Despite his change, Linda remained faithful and was still ready to love him. He got worse by the day and lies telling became the order of the relationship. The worse finally happened to him and he got into a serious problem which took him to prison. While he was there, Linda had to move ahead with her life as she could not kill herself because of the issue. They separated and she became less worried of what people were going to say if she left him. She forgot one does not live one’s life for people but for oneself. She was not in love with him anymore but was only having pity on him since she was still around him. At first she did not want people to call her a fare weather friend but as the distance became greater she took a decision to better her future. Distance and time they say are two very vital factors when it comes to love. Time makes people know what they really want and help them come out of their confusion. Her leaving his site helped her think over her life. She really had to think if she could spend the rest of her life with a boy who had decided to disgrace the both of them in school. He was not always like that for while in secondary school, he was composed. His second year in the university had made him become something else. He brought his rich father so much disgrace. His father had an intention of opening a good company for him and this company was to be opened in his own name. As he had gotten himself into prison, there was going to be nobody to manage the company he wanted to open and no one knew what was also going to happen to his existing company. His father was already old and needed a successor. His younger brother was very young and little hopes could be placed on him. His father had lived a very foolish life in his youth and had gotten Raymond out of wedlock. He had only gotten married to Raymond’s mother so late and that accounted for why his other children were very young. The woman had not gotten married as she still loved the father of her first child. He only went back for Raymond when he saw he was getting old and needed somebody to take over from him in his company when he finally retired. The whole imprisonment thing brought so much scandal to the family. It is very necessary to know all what transpired between the two lovers and this will be seen in the story.
