You are bigger than your habits. It doesn’t matter if you have too many habits to count, or just one that refuses to go away. You are bigger than your habits. There is a part of you that is designed to stand up for your greatness. It knows how powerful you are and how you will feel when you tap into that power.
You don’t need another diet. You don’t need another magic pill or gimmick to take you from where you are to where you want to be.

My habits left me stranded on the streets of California with an alcoholic liver, a fat body, no job, no family, no friends, and absolutely nowhere to call home. That painful ride led to the solution you now hold in your hands.
The overall focus of this book is achieving a more exciting quality of life. It’s about more than eliminating unwanted and unhealthy habits. These pages are filled with a variety of strategies; how they affect your body from head to toe, inside and out, is clearly explained.
This book is purposely interactive and as you move through each page, you’ll find moments where you’ll be asked to pause and view the scenery inside yourself. You’ll be given steps to honestly examine your current way of living. These exercises are designed to meet you wherever you are on the road to sculpting a body that makes you truly feel excited about being alive.

Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things are right now. Joy is a by-product of Gratitude, although it is easy to see them as two words for the same thing.
Joy is like the essence of your favorite perfume; Gratitude is like the action that it takes to acquire the perfume in the first place.
The more reasons you can become grateful for something, the more you will experience the beautiful fragrance of Joy. The best part of seeing things this way is that doing so even works with things that bother, annoy, or irritate you.
So, begin to look closely at those areas as well, and sincerely ask Joy to reveal itself to you. It’s there; trust me, it’s there.
Remember, the first part is the action!
In other words, if you don’t take the steps to walk to the perfume counter
you’ll never experience that precious scent.
