This is a true story.

It is the tale of my near death experience; what happened after I returned to life on earth after death, and about a loved one who died and came back in a different form to prove to me that Heaven is real.

It is my belief that my near death experience and what I learned from it, has helped others face what none of us can escape when we reach the end of our lives.

I am hoping I find the right words to describe what I thought, what I saw, and what I did when I passed over to the other side and came back.

My Life

My search to understand life and God began in my youth.

My childhood was in the rugged land of the state of Oklahoma. It was an environment filled with rattlesnakes, tornadoes, and hellfire-damnation.

My early concept of God was formed by the religious community of the Bible Belt exemplified by the Southern Baptist Religion, sometimes practiced by my parents. The wrathful, vengeful God, as taught by the Protestant Christian denomination, instilled in me a deep fear of God, death, and the afterlife.

A near-death experience taught me something much different. The occurrence transformed me, showing me that God is a loving God, who does not judge or punish.

I would never forget the life-changing experience or how it happened.
