Knitting: Learn To Cast On Stitches
()
About this ebook
Every hobby has to start at the beginning, so let’s start with casting on the stitches. Casting on is the term used to get the first stitches onto your needle so that you can begin knitting.
There are two ways this can be done, either by creating stitches with two knitting needles, or by using one needle and your thumb. It is just a matter of personal preference, which one you choose. Casting on with 2 knitting needles is the most commonly used method. Learning to knit is very easy and once you have mastered the art of casting on stitches you will be knitting in no time at all.
